Neo003
Now you got me wondering if they put this in for a reason :shifty: , probably not
sn00pie
Yeah that weird cut-scene freaked me out. I thought my 360 was crapping out on me! Then I realized it was that scarecrow dude as soon as I was controlling the Joker.
Tech Star
Anyone have any tips on how to get good scores in the challenge modes? I beat the game! Also, there will be another one, if the crate of titan floating down the river means anything! :D
Neo003
I don't think this game matter as a batman series in whole. So it doesn't matter if the thing goes out or not. And by the looks of the review I'm sure everyone knows there will be another batman game in the works already.
thefonz
I'm need to beat Wolverine before picking this up. Very excited to get it though!

Impossible >.<

Has anyone found a good guide online for all the Riddler challenges yet? Call me lazy, but I don't like to do these kinds of things without a guide :p. Searching around a game for hours for random crap is not my idea of fun (that's why I ended up hating Price of Persia, lol).

Shows you where everything is. The little flying riddler icon show you where in that general area the trophy or riddle is located. It's actually fun to do it without a guide, as you do feel a sense of accomplishment :D.

Tech Star
Batman: Arkham Asylum receives Guinness World Record Gritty superhero romp Batman: Arkham Asylum has notched up a Guinness World Record for the ?Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever,? achieving an average score of 91.67 from reviews around the world.Speaking on the milestone, Guinness? Gaz Deaves commented: ?We are so pleased to be awarding Batman: Arkham Asylum a Guinness World Record,? adding, ?It is a fantastic new game and due to the reaction of gaming experts we believe it has a well deserved place in the Guinness World Records book.? Released earlier this week on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Batman: Arkham Asylum splices hard-hitting combat with stealthy detective escapades, with the legendary Dark Knight finding himself up against a plethora of villains, including The Joker, Harley Quinn and many more. News Source: PSU Although it is a waste of a world record, it is a real:D good game. :D

boogerjones
Just played the PC demo. Initial impression is that the reviews of the console versions game seem spot-on for the most part. The game has a Bioshock-style presentation to it, which is a good thing. The audio is especially good; games tend to underestimate the importance of audio in the presentation of a game. Controls were smooth and it didn't feel like a console port. Nice to know that some game developers still put a little effort into PC games. Graphics were excellent and smooth running on high settings at 1920x1200 on a Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz, 2 GB RAM, and an 8800 GTX. Didn't think I like this game since I'm not a fan of the superhero genre, but I think they'll be getting my money on the 15th. Publisher said they delayed the PC version due to a PhysX issue, but that's bull****; we all know it's because of piracy fear. Will be a game-of-the-year contender, but I suppose Modern Warfare 2 is the favorite there unless Ubisoft does something really stupid. I just hope Splinter Cell: Conviction can achieve the level of refinement that is immediately obvious in Batman: Arkham Asylum.
