I just noted that bird on Andres flickr. Thought it was a stick pixel at first and was flicking the screen trying to dislodge it!

Took some more IR shots today but I'm not really getting what I want from this IS-1. Goni try my D40 + r72 filter tomorrow - weather permitting - see if there is a difference. Maybe try the IS-Pro again as well , it took a no bad IR shot last time I used it.

Anyway, I'll just post two images. If folk want to see the other IR shots they are on my flickr but you're all probably fed up with IR shots by now lol.

This isn't an IR shot, btw.

cheers

Well I don't know how much you know :p

:(

He'd have to escape the Child Cruelty folk first. Look at those poor flying toddlers.

lol

Seriously though they are good clean images.

I'm getting an Hoya R72 (?30) for my 52mm lenses on my D40 - not quite as deep IR will be acheived as the IS-1/IS-Pro but might put a different slant on the images - I will post when I get one.

Moonman - is that your gf or sister or I dunno?. Very photogenic and you DOF totally works in almost all of them. I notice though that she carries a DSLR too - she take any of you? Were they any good?

Malc

Moonman is a myth! he almost never gets captured by an enemy camera!

(hmmm would moonman cover his OWN wedding?!?)

Well he could do it with it with I wireless remote. Although I BET he will figure out a way

@andre: Damn that is one good pic! the sun just feels "yummy" if that makes any sense:wacko::

here's some from my sister's wedding, i took some photo's but wasn't 'the' photographer (not quite up to par yet)... i really need to get to grips with post processing though, as i think i messed a few of them up (although not permanently as they are in raw and only lightroom edits...).

@moonman - images are real good. Bokeh, bokeh, BOKEH!

@houlty - quality wed photos. The one in front of the window is great. You use flash for the indoors and car shot?

Here are a couple I shot with the IS-Pro whilst on my bike this avo. Not hugely pleased with the yellow hues on the processed files but I screwed up my CWB prior to shooting and never noticed. Still, they look ok. Might get back to visible light shooting tomorrow (weather permitting) as I just got my ND8 - time for some silky water! Also, I running out of bad IR pun titles for these photos - seriously I'm scraping the barrel today like. :)

All shot with a manual nikkor 50 mm lens. Dunno if that had an impact on the colours or not - I don't usually shoot wtih it

Cheers
