REM2000 Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 running windows 7 in aero basic really does cut down the ram. I recently setup a shuttle pc, an old one P4 2.8GHZ with 2GB RAM. The built in VGA has only 16MB onboard so it's running basic, however the memory at desktop is only 380MB-400MB which i find quite impressive for a newer OS. Speed wise im pretty sure it's the same and in some places faster than windows xp on the shuttle. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
