Another gold this afternoon. :) Shame about the two Dutch skaters preventing us from a possible second medal, lol. Canada vs Switzerland hockey tonight!

2-2 after two periods between Canada and Switzerland, hands up who guessed that score correctly... :p

Regardless, Lysacek deserved that gold. As for the rest of the single digit ranking, I agree, some really messed up judging.

I think that Plushenko deserved gold...after all he did quad :p

Also, while patric chan is a good skater,he got way too many points, while johny weir was better he got less.

Anyway it doesn't matter..it was entertaining thing to watch and it's good for me.

Hey Eva...you can't drop a quad and have the rest of your routine be crap, including the final whole minute lacking any jumps of any kind, and expect them to just hand you a gold. You just said it yourself: You're a one-trick pony.

"For someone to stand on top of the podium with the gold medal around his neck with just doing triple jumps, to me it's not progress, it's a regress because we've done triples 10 or even 20 years ago," Plushenko said.

"Just doing nice transitions and being artistic is not enough because figure skating is a sport, not a show," he said.

That pretty much sums it up, and i think he is right.

russia slovak game was on the best hockey games i've watched all year. team canada is embarrassing... that hockey game was disgusting. anyone who thought it was a good game is retarded. team canada played like ****.

You're absolutely right, this was NOT a good game. We should have killed that team. How are we going to beat USA, Sweden, or Russia playing like that?

From a neutral fans point of view the Canada Switzerland game was a good game. Canada threw 47 shots on goal, hardly ****, but Hiller played a fantastic game and made 44 saves. Canada are certanly feeling the pressure, we'll see what they do against the USA.

This. Plus amazing management. The Swiss team is increasing in power, whereas my poor German team is becoming craptastic. Canada should've been able to take the game 3-2 without much struggle within regulation time, however we just weren't putting enough pressure on... Just enough to counter the never ending Swiss attacks, therefore making our attempts look lacklustre. However, I do agree that this doesn't bode well for the elimination rounds, After tomorrow's game against the US, we'll be able to see where our team is heading.

Also, anybody else think Montgomery is awesome? I love his personality, and he definitely deserves that gold in skeleton.

just got back from van for 2 days (6 hours of sleep and 200 plus in booze later...) and had an unreal time. the city is amazing right now. saw a lot of random things in the streets. went shopping, finally got myself a canada sweater. talked to people from all over the world, such a crazy city right now. Robson is just a sea of red... and i finally got a nedermayer shirt (AND HE SHOULD be no the team Matrix!!!!) i was looking for like ever. It was crazy, the guess store had real models insteam of manequins... it was freaky. When canada makes the hockey finals im going back to watch the game. i wanna be in the city to feel like love/violence (depending on the outcome). Met some fins, swedes, people from africa, states, other random european countries. wicked environment.

oh yeah, i hope the states get murdered today in hockey...

      +1 for Rufus. I bought NTLite a few years ago to scrape all the bloat out of Windows 11. It is not a perfect solution as there is a steep learning curve if you don't really know what you are doing (me included). I have finally got a Windows install that just works. I only keep things I use and nothing else.

      Personally ive been using searxng, self hosted, although there are public instances out there too (https://searx.space).  Its shocking when I occasionally go into google or bing and see how bad they've become in the last year
