Just tried Rush mode on PC at the urging of some people, and of course I get stuck on a team as I always do of nothing but snipers, could not even take the first 2 crates. :crazy:

I armed both myself, but it was pointless, my team just sat back and sniped and did absolutely nothing, oh except one guy had 26 kills and 3 deaths. :angry:

And of course the other team actually played it the way it is supposed to be played, and just steamrolled over us. Nothing I could do against a whole team of snipers sitting back while the other team actually played it right. I guess I just have awful luck with the Rush matches I choose, but it is literally always the same scenario.

Luckily God Of War III just arrived, will let me take a much needed break from this game before I get utterly fed up with it.

Its ok larry, its the same way I felt until I found good servers where even randoms TEAMWORK. its amazing. Ill have them out too you in a PM. But these servers, everytime I go on them, good players and good teamwork by ALL. You have people using the VOIP or the servers Teamspeak. I like it when a server provides a VOIP option like teamspeak or ventrilo, that kind of says WORK AS A TEAM or GTFO lol.

But yeah, ive been doing good so far. Of course ill go back to conquest but damn I love rush. Owning n00btubers from a distance(recon) and then taking mcoms and sweeping them with mortars :).

Yeah, that is one thing I don't understand. I join servers that are displayed as having a low ping (in the 30's) but when I actually get into the game, everyone has pings in the 100s. I'm usually around the 130-150 mark when I play, and it's not the greatest for a shooter...

it's garbage for a shooter. I use to be so picky with CS and CSS that i wouldn't play unless my ping was below 60-70, same with COD. Now with battlefield if im around 160 im happy :(

I actually havnt noticed HUGE lag issues.. visually that have affected the game.. even though the latency/ping is way past up in the 100's. I have only had a few games that have noticeable lag moments. Either way I havnt been too affected by the number being reported back. *shrugs*

But I've said it before and I'll say it again. That server browser needs to be fixed.

Is that more obvious now? I can tell you atleast know how to read the blog, but what about now? Are you happy? Or are you gonna continue to say im talking out of my ass? if so, stop replying to me, kthanks.

woo downloading new patch, hopefully this will fix a lot of problems

Btw can anyone recommend any decent rush servers (non HC) iv found a few good ones but last night they were all plagued with Recons, took me an hour to find a server with squads who worked together

Set up a server for another forum I frequent but you guys are welcome too.

F365 Server

Name Multiplay.co.uk :: F365 Server

Max Players 20

Address 85.236.100.199:22667

Just search for "F365" in the Server Browser then click the dropdown arrow and add to favourites.

It's currently set to Conquest, all maps with max players of 20.

If any of you guys have a Multiplay account, I'm happy to set you up as Admin for the Server so you can kick/ban idiots.

Anyone got any ideas how we can write EA a suggestion for the game?

I want to make it so that **** idiots who pilot choppers onto capture points get exploded immediately instead of camping it so that you can't defuse the damn cap point. :angry:

I love playing Rush, it's my favourite mode besides SQDM. But when that happens, I usually switch teams.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but how is that an exploit? I don't pilot choppers, I never even ride in them because more often than not some idiot who is pilot crashes the damn thing.

lol i tried flying it once, and that's exactly what i did. haven't gone near one since...

its something more then that, a patch wouldn't explain why the server pings on the browser is about 6-7x lower then the ping reported in the game.

Since I got the game I couldn't get pings to show up.. just dead ass line in that column. So I don't know how some of you even see a ping.

I keep having to pick a server based on the name (so if it's Dalas, or West Coast or somewhere close) so I can play a good game no.gif

lol i tried flying it once, and that's exactly what i did. haven't gone near one since...

The trick is to use the WASD keys in combination with the arrow keys. That's what I use and it's fairly easy to fly. It still takes a bit of practice but it's easier than other BF games to fly, I think.

And the hits just keep on rollin' in. For the above video to make much sense, it's recommended that you first watch this public service announcement (backup video here) from Infinity Ward and Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels. Even if you have seen it before, it's worth a rewatch anyway.

Even though random grenade spam really isn't much of an issue in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, DICE figured "oh, what the hell!" and created a PSA dedicated to the problem. Better yet, the studio was also able to nab some outside help: New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia.

As per tradition, I have only the following to say in response to this back-and-forth between the two companies: FACE!

That trick no longer works for me no matter what I do. It did at one point, but just stopped working. I no longer see pings either.

That's not entirely true. As an assault using the extra explosives perk I just drop my ammo bag and spam the F button. Random grenade spam. :rofl:

that's true, but CoD you get two nades and the maps are so tiny that it's pretty easy to do it.

Yeah, it's not extremely fast though, maybe 10 grenades a minute, if you even live long enough to throw that many.

Not if you get your whole clan to do it, I swear I didn't make them be cheap *******s >_>

For the STEAM version to show pings, you have to run it as admin.

Mine finally works. When I launch BC2 it says "Steam" is asking for Permission and not "Battlefield". If it does that when you launch the game, then your set. Launch steam as admin, it should run the game as admin automatically.
