I'm level 20, can I drive it? I'll take it if I can. I just RM'd a ZR1 and it seems to have potential but it may be a handful.

I'm actually not sure, I won it from "like the wind" which is a level 21 race, and I could use it right after, so if you can't you're for sure close to being able to use it. So I will send it anyway tomorrow

I don't understand, the alternative to two feet is heel-toe? I don't understand why you wouldn't use 2 feet?

In real racing the driver is contending with three pedals. As he approaches a turn he will be hitting the brakes at the same time pushing in the clutch to downshift. Where the heel toe comes in is that the driver will want to blip the throttle with the outside of his right foot while braking to rev match when down shifting. It is technique to maintain momentum through the turn. If yon do not rev match the car will surge and slow you down and drop the motor out of the power band. Purists in race sims like to do this. Since my DFGT only has two pedals it is a non issue and I use two feet.

You can buy any of the NASCARs at the dealerships. There's Ford, Toyota, I think there's a Dodge one, and a Chevrolet one as well, and they're all 500,000 CR each.

Personally, I think the Toyota Camry one is the best of the lot, as it seems to have the most power, with the same weight as the others.

Ah, thanks for the tip. I was sure I'd looked in the dealers, but sure enough, there they were! Unfortunately, you need to be level 21 to buy them. I'm level 17, and I don't think I'll be 21 by the time the event goes away again!

Today, I got my International S License! I did the final one on SS5 the first time, but test 9 at Circuit de la Sarthe... argh! That took me at least ten attempts, and I was always caught out at the turn at the very end of the long straight with the two kinks in it. Either I'd brake too late, at the wrong point and spin out, crash into something, something would crash into me... sigh!

Ah well, I have it now! :D

I actually purchased a nascar for one of the seasons events, but I noticed the hp was a like 15 below the competition and what I was allowed to have so I stupidly did an oil change and now its way above and can't use it for the seasonal event lol... guess I'm going to have to wait for the oil to go bad.

@hellacool: I sent the car about 10 minutes ago, enjoy! Send it back whenever you finish

I can lend you a car that will kick the **** out of the all-stars if you'd like haha!

edit: it's the '89 Minolta Toyota race car - right now it is clocked in at 1040hp @850kg

PS: don't worry about scratching it up a bit, I already got repair bills of 500k each for the engine/chassis haha

Got the car, the thing is insane, brakes like crazy, little touchy on the accelerator, gotta keep from spinning. Managed a bronze, got wiped out on Nurberg and DNF so lost all those points. Will race it again to get gold and return it. I also used it for the "Like the Wind" so now I have one of my own so I will send this back shortly. Thanks Again.

No problem! Did you remember to change the tires? I think they were last on sports tires, not racing because I was using it for b-spec!

Yep, changed them to soft rave and adjusted the tranny. I was kicking major butt but got spun by the cheatin AI :)

haha nice, yeah it'll get the job done

Sooooo..... Online. It's a bit rubbish, isn't it?

Yeah... wouldn't know... I tried to get on once or twice but it never worked... so i gave up and just play single player now. Although I remember from Prologue I needed to open some ports on my router to actually get through... it was most stable when I was plugged directly into the modem, I haven't bothered to try with the full game yet tho

Ok where I buy a pick up truck? I can't find one anywhere.

I think they're in the user car dealership. There's quite a few there. I won the series with a giant Dodge one, but if you find the Chevrolet SSR, go with that one, as it's the smallest pickup truck in the game, and as Killa Aaron has shown me, you can loony tune it up to stupid levels. :p

Anyone else with the sig edition, worth keeping the stealth cars or pawn them on ebay for some quick bucks?

id keep the stealth cars for your self, and you got a bargin there lol. no way would i have paied the full price, its not worth it.

but if you are going to sell the DLC code ebay have some sellers already, asking way to much for them.

    • Any decent ITSM will A) have a web form that allows a user to raise a ticket, if you're writing an email you can write a ticket. B) Monitor a mailbox and auto-generate tickets based on inbound mails for those users that really can't get their heads around the concept that if you have an issue you go to support.mycompany.com and fill in the box. From your description you're having users email the desk, and then having a human read each one and manually raise a ticket on behalf of the user.

    • I've never even heard of this browser before seeing this article. How does it differ from other browsers?
    • Fixing things? Have you ever tried linux? Everything works out of the box nowadays in most common hardware. This includes Wifi and Bluetooth. If anything, if they return back to windows is because they haven't found an equivalent program which often used on windows.
    • 18 months ago I bought the 4TB variant for $380 CDN. Now it is $1500 CDN [$949 US].
