¡VIVA ESPAÑA!

hey remember how germans haven't had ot play a team that has defense? now we are seeing what happens when they play a complete team.

This. Germany hadn't played a defense until today. They didn't fare too well when they finally got some opposition.

Their passing never got them anywhere though. If it wasn't for that corner we would be sitting half way through extra time right about now.

I was commenting on its beauty per se. :p

True that if they didn't score, those passes would be quite useless. lol

Spain won fair, I have to give them that. There's only one negative thing I want to throw at Germany:

don't give a damn who your enemy is and don't show them any respect, just play the game^^

This they didn't do today, they almost seemed in fear before spain

I am disappointed that the Germans were not able to shake off their Angst. You could tell right from the start that they played too much with their conscience and that they were afraid to go into attack mode. They played the typical German soccer all of a sudden. Very frustrating. But I forgive them. They played terrific games and beat England and Argentina in a manner that I've not seen in a German team since the 70s. I hope they are free spirited again on Sat and show what they can do. I wish Spain good luck winning the WC.

btw. bloody octopus. It was incorrect 2 yrs ago Ger vs Spain, why couldn't it have been incorrect again? Moody beast ;)

The octopus learned from its mistake.

That said, **** Spain.

The Germans looked ill at ease trying to play defensively, however once they came up against a team that can actually defend properly, they suddenly looked vulnerable again. However, if Spain are to overcome the dutch in the final, they will need to stop trying to play over elaborately, and focus on adding an extra touch of quality to their final third play.

Good job to Spain they deserved that win.

Now for the finals it's going to be epic, I'm going to be cheering for Netherlands because I've been cheering for them and England (when they were still alive) for the whole tournament. :)

    • No Steam release. It's gonna fail on PC. Even an Epic Online engineer said that people go there for the free stuff and then immediately go back to Steam.
    • Nice. Admittedly, his other games never interested me, but this seems pretty cool.
    • It's time to say goodbye to Edge and switch back to Firefox. There's no way to disable the ugly rounded corners that appear everywhere. Not even on the page frame. No one uses screens with rounded corners, you idiots.
    • Being on Github makes it more trustable since I can see the code at any point.
    • Gen Atlas is the next game from Shadow of the Colossus creator, this time with giant robots by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The mind behind widely well-received games like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, Fumito Ueda, showed up at Summer Game Fest today, and that was to reveal his latest project. Being developed by genDESIGN, Gen Atlas is incoming with what looks to be plenty of mech and robot action. Watch the reveal trailer, which makes not much sense, above. The game will have players waking up on an abandoned planet where deserted facilities and grand designs from the original creators remain. Soon, they will stumble upon a colossal robot, from which players gain access to the power to change the world. "Across an endless expanse of time, the remnants of those forgotten constructs begin to move once more," adds the studio. The gameplay snippets seen in the trailer show the player character climbing giant robots (as expected from the creator), while also controlling these titans somehow as well. This is a fully single-player open-world adventure. “The team and I are grateful to all the fans who’ve been eager to learn more about our game,” says Fumito Ueda, CEO and creative director of genDESIGN. “Their passion and enthusiasm has always motivated and inspired us. We hope to share an experience that inspires moments of quiet wonder and discovery.” Before gaining the name Gen Atlas, Ueda first announced this project back in 2024 with the codename Project Robot. Interestingly, this will be a project being funded and published by Epic Games, which should mean that a Steam release is out of the question. Gen Atlas will be releasing on Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced just yet.
