Well we were told we could discuss leaked games, just not how/where they are obtained.

Ok well I will clarify, don't post screenshots, even if they are not yours to torrent applications with torrent filenames and IP addresses in them. Discussion is fine :)

Posting a link to another site with an article or image is fine, lets just not help to promote it on here by showing filenames, and tracker info please.

Moving on from horse porn.

Do we know any of the prices for the Supermarkets yet?

Me and friends have put down pre-orders in Asda since we had a hoot of a time buying MW2 last year, by 12 the queue was from one end of the shop to the other, and then into the freezer section, lol.

For MW2 release i was on night shifts that week, me and a mate went over to Asda got there 10 to midnight and had queues one end to the other... back again down the next aisle and then halfway back towards the door again. I highly suspect they will do the same again, will see if i can pull up some info from old Morrisons colleagues ;)

That Gun Game footage looks pretty good! It's not something I would play all the time, but it would be a riot to play every now and then. I want to see some One in the Chamber footage though. Curious to see how that plays out in an actual situation.

I'm contemplating pre-ordering this one from Best Buy. In Canada, they're giving $10 worth of Reward Zone points if you pre-order this. I know I'm going to use those points sooner or later, since I shop at Best Buy all the time (for better or worse), so it's tempting...

It does look good, it's an extremely popular game-mode - I remember a ton of servers back in the CS days were Gun Game servers. But yeah, wager matches aren't something people will be playing all the time. I think it's meant as a pace changer between the core modes and it'll be perfect. Just hope there's some way of increasing the odds friends will be put against each other in wager matches, just know there won't be a party mode per say as that would leave the game open for massive boosting.

What really impresses me is the sounds. Finally they decided to spend some time implementing proper sounds with some punch, sick of those old tinny, weak sounds.

Haven't been this hyped about a game in a very long time, looks like it's what MW2 should have been (Y)

I think that's the right way to look at it. I can see myself playing wager matches when I have ten minutes to spare here and there, or if I get bored/frustrated with the core modes. Even as a diversion though, it seems like it's decently varied. One in the Chamber and Gun Game should both be quite fun. I'll have to see some footage of Sticks and Stones and Sharpshooter before I can make an assessment on those. Sticks and Stones will either be fun or infuriating depending on how good people get with the Tomahawk.

Kinda funny though, I was a hardcore CS:S player back in its heyday (2004-2006 mostly) and I have never played Gun Game before. I must have been hanging out with the wrong people.

    • Funny, but I didn't had the issue. All PC's at work are Dell and we had the culprit version of Support Assist for about 2 weeks until we got the new one. No problem at all. And for checking you can also use Dell Command Update, no need to search in windows settings. Just check the Upgrade History.
    • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
