Just got it at the midnight launch at Tesco! They had 1000 copies and there must have only been about 200 people. I can confirm the Tesco deals that someone else put up earlier are correct, I ended up going for the game + PSN £20 card for £45.

Only had to queue for 15 minutes once they had released it, probably about 45 mins in total. Very happy indeed! :)

(Well, I drove the ****er to the store :p)

Can't say the queue in Asda was as long as it was for MW2, didn't quite reach the freezer section this year, but there were two lines this time splitting up people with pre-orders and those without.

Playing on normal at the moment, I've died only twice thus far, both from grenades, which I hope isn't a sign of things to come fromthe rest of the game, and really hope it isnt like that in veteran.

Have the game since today for PS3 and didn't bother with the SP.... went straight to the MP and am Level 14 now :p

The only thing that hits my eyes is how bad it looks compared to MW2 PC but oh well.... 720p =/= 1080p :(

Sigh, I'm bored of a certain point in a level already at the moment, doesn't seem to want to checkpoint, it's like they took the most annoying part of the Japanese sections of WaW and decided to have another go, yey more infinite spawns.

Sweet, looks like treyarch didn't listen all of the communities concerns. Infinite respawns FTL. Irregardless, my time in single player will be short and sweet, MP is the bread and butter.

It's not all levels, it is just one I have come across where it is apparent and is somewhat related to what was going on, but there was no checkpoint going on during that section and they would spawn infront and behind me regardless of how many I killed, so when I did get to move forward after clearing some enemies out I would get shot up form behind, then shot from the front again.

Maybe I am just tired, but it was irritating enough to quit single player and spend some time in Multi-player instead, which is rarely what I do, lol.

But the game has taken the improvements made from MW2, atleast so far I haven't come across grenade spamming or besides the one time any other infinite respawns.

    • Microsoft announces the return of Xbox exclusives with Gears of War and Clockwork Revolution by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft had plenty of announcements to make today at the Xbox Games Showcase celebrating 25 years of the gaming brand. Now, under the leadership of the new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, Xbox games are going back to their original release methods. She appeared in the livestream itself to announce the return of Xbox console exclusives. This means two major upcoming games from first-party studios won't be coming to PlayStation or Nintendo consoles: Gears of War: E-Day from The Coalition and Clockwork Revolution from InExile. Both titles will only be coming out on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PCs, ditching any plans they had for PlayStation. "These are not timed exclusives," confirmed Microsoft. "We’re committed to investing in and growing XBOX both on console and beyond." The company confirmed that any already announced Xbox titles for PlayStation, under previous leadership, will continue to arrive for the rival platform. This means games like the new Halo remake, Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and State of Decay 3 will still be available on PlayStation, either at launch or later. It sounds like any new projects announced by the company will avoid other consoles in the same way. Microsoft first opened the floodgates by bringing titles like Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, and Pentiment to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles back in 2024. Since then, almost every new game release from Xbox Game Studios has arrived for rival consoles alongside Xbox and PC. This decision follows Sony's plans to ditch its own multiplatform releases too. Outside of multiplatform live service titles, the PlayStation maker is even abandoning its PC porting endeavors that started years ago.
    • I'm missing the beginning part of this equation... but for the sake of the convo, you don't get to take a $250(?) set of normally priced RAM, jack it up to over $500/600/800 just because of a market shift, then lower it back down to more than what it was originally and call that a "sale". Not the author of this post... the manufacturer/seller.

    • no thanks is overpriced and its not the fastest ram neither.
    • It is, but it also has a bad performance reputation even on high-end gaming PCs. Some people say it's the engine's fault, others say it's the games developers' fault, who knows... At the end of the day, for the average gamer, the take is this: PC game with Unreal Engine 5? Be affraid and cross your fingers, it's a 50/50 chance.
