Come on sethos. You of all people?

You really cant tell me you blame IW and then right after the game releases activision basically said "**** you".

Member that debacle? Or are you gonna blame IW for it? Because I blame activision not IW. IW hasnt done anything to me for me to think different. Once the PC Street got moved to and 2 months before there was all this crap about there have been last minute changes on the pc copy and ****, yeah wasnt IW.

Just look at the facts, They(IW) have had no reason to screw us like they did, so there was a reason.

... IW created the game though. bobby k has no power on balancing the game and fixing the issues, that's all IW. Thats like blaming the grocery store because general mills decided to change the ingrediends of honey nut cheerios, it has nothing to do with the grocery store, it has to do with the people who made the cereal.

No.

What does that have to do with core gameplay balancing issues, which was the problem.

I dont expect them to fix the game after all the **** happened. Why doesnt Treyarch or Sledgehammer take over and introduce these weapon balancing fixes and ****?

The game was dead after the whole crap between IW and Activision started, no way do I expect them to fix it.

For Example, BC2, its finally had its proper weapon balancing, but its also has had 234235923589- updates, where has I believe MW2 has had like 4? 5? I havent played it since december so I havent kept up on patches but my point being, MW2 died the minute all the crap started between IW and Activision.

but the game was released in November and the whole debacle started in what.. May wasn't it? They still released patches and updates before all of that went down... and the game was unbalanced at launch where as the original MW was a lot more balanced at launch and this seems to be almost perfectly balanced at launch as well.

Am i missing something?

True, but, why would they introduce patches to fix the issues if IW has no control over the game? If fagtick wanted to, he could of gave treyarch or sledgehammer responsibility to maintaining MW2. Thats my point.

Im not arguring weapon balancing and all that isnt a problem, but I also played it on 360 and only for about a month before I was done with it.

In the end, I dont blame IW for purposely releasing a ****ty product if they knew **** was being stirred up against them behind there backs, which is why I also dont blame them for meeting up with EA a few weeks before the launch of the game.

Lets just see what happens when Treyarch have to fend for themselves and not harp on a brother studio.

How old are you that you have to keep saying "Fagtick" over and over in your posts? Not only that but why would another developer take on extra work to fix a game they didn't develop themselves and are currently in the process of developing their OWN game?

Just kind of think you're arguing a moot point and are too obsessed with Kotick.

Because there was nothing to fix! The game was FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED right from the drawing board - This has nothing to do with ANY of the things happened over the past months, NOTHING.

IW fixed the huge glaring flaws like they were supposed to but, to fix the other issues they'd have to redesign some of the core gameplay elements.

So stop ranting on about Activision, the disbanding of the core members of IW and whatever else you have on the hate-list because it has nothing to do with why true Call of Duty fans were disappointed with MW2.

But if he get treyarch to take over the game, then we would have a situation like Dice where the team gets spread to thin and mediocore products start to come out. Call of Duty's is IW's baby, why would they purposely mess it up?

This is gonna be a never ending battle and neither of us are wrong.

But my point is, why wouldnt you expect IW to make a ****ty product, especially since the debacle started 6+ months before release?

Like you just said MW was better supported, back then IW was still boss, MW2 era was when IW was loosing there grip and knew it. So, as a game studio, if your on the verge of releasing another sequel to what was a hot title back in its day, and you were getting screwed out of your job, wouldnt you release it to be ****ty? I know i wouldnt continue to put my hard work into it just so the publisher can make money off of it and still screwed me over.

Just look at how much money IW CEOs lost for royalties they didnt get.

In my eyes, IW didnt do me wrong, they got ****ed over and decided to call it quits and release the game in a bad state. Watch when Respawn previews there game in a year or two, then you will see the true infinity ward shine.

All im waiting for is next year, when the COD series is gonna have 2 devs to have to fend for themselves.

Calm it down folks ;)

Just posted my last post before seeing your post. Sorry Man

It will be interesting to play the game and see how well it is made compared to their earlier titles, I was reading an article yesterday and they pointed out that this will be the first time Treyarch have only been doing one game, hopefully it leads to the apparent higher quality.

And Sikh there is no excuse for purposely releasing a bad game, atleast the way you are putting it, it would be a kick in the balls to it's fanbase.

1080p Nuketown TDM:

There's another person who's way better at Call of Duty than I'll ever be :). Good switching between primary and secondary. I always suck at that, and I end up going for a reload and getting killed.

Video was cool, though. That map looks like fun (although I'm biased towards urban-style maps ;)).

Map looked pretty tiny though.. maybe it'll be better suited for the amount of players?

Yeah, Nuketown is really small - Smallest map in the game. You can get from one end to the other in like 7 or 8 seconds  It's basically the "Rust" of Black Ops.

But there's plenty of urban styled maps and I can hand on heart say, these are some of the best maps to have graced a Call of Duty game in a long time.

Yeah Nuketown looks to be a small map good for short games of TDM and FFA. Similar in size to Favela maybe?

Edit: Ok it's similar to Rust but much better designed. (Y)

Edit 2: Order Dispatched! :D

My order was dispatched by PLAY yesterday, fingers crossed it's here soon! :D

If yours was dispatched yesterday, there's a chance that it could arrive on Monday, let us know if it does. What platform did you get?

BTW. If anyone's up for a game on Tuesday evening GMT, I'm up for it on PC, add my name (See left, it's the same) to Steam and invite me.

Also as a bonus, I should have a new mouse by the time it arrives! :D

    • Windows 11 is a big thumbs down from me. I used for a period of a few days while it was in insider and windows 10 was the main OS, and realised it wasn't for me. I am still waiting for Windows to be tolerable again, a shame as at one point I was very pro Microsoft.
    • Classic outlook, not only does it have a much fuller feature set, it doesn't include Microsoft attempting to sync my emails from my servers to theirs. If classic outlook is ever removed from office, and the version I paid for in 2021 stops working for some reason, I'll use Thunderbird.

Visual effects include options for masking, blue-screen, distortions, rotations, colour tools, blurring, obscuring and others. Configurable keyboard shortcuts and interface layouts. Rendering is done using a separate non-blocking process so it can be stopped, paused and restarted. Kdenlive also provides a script called the Kdenlive Builder Wizard (KBW) that compiles the latest developer version of the software and its main dependencies from source, to allow users to try to test new features and report problems on the bug tracker. Project files are stored in XML format. An archiving feature allows exporting a project among all assets into a single folder or compressed archive. • Here's how to watch the Xbox Games Showcase today and what to expect by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The June games showcase week has been a packed one, with everything from major presentations like Sony and Summer Game Fest to indie-focused reveals coming in almost every day. Now, it's almost time for another big one, with Microsoft bringing its Xbox Games Showcase back later today. This is a double feature too, with a Gears of War E-Day deep dive also being attached to it. For anyone wanting to tune in online, the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase is kicking off at 10 AM PT | 1 PM ET | 6 PM BST | 7 PM CEST later today, June 7. The event will be available to watch on the official Xbox YouTube (4K 60FPS), Twitch, Facebook, Steam, Amazon Live, and other portals. Separate livestreams for American Sign Language and Audio Description will also be available. "This year marks 25 years of XBOX, and this Showcase is poised to be a true celebration, offering world premieres, new gameplay, fresh updates, and more for a swathe of projects we cannot wait to share," said Microsoft about this presentation. With a new CEO behind it that is pulling off some interesting moves, Xbox may have some surprises to reveal today. New looks at first-party games like Halo Campaign Evolved from Halo studios, Fable from Playground Games, InXile Entertainment's Clockwork Revolution, Mojang's Minecraft Dungeons II, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Infinity Ward are to be expected here. We may finally get to see the new Blade from Arcane Studios in action and a new Persona game from Atlus at the showcase too. Surprise announcements may also arrive from other Microsoft-owned studios like Bethesda, MachineGames, Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Rare, World's Edge, or Blizzard. Considering how every new release nowadays is staying away from November and December to avoid Grand Theft Auto VI's release, any launch dates Microsoft announces will probably skip those months as well. Once the Xbox Games Showcase ends, Microsoft will immediately kick off the Gears of War: E-Day Direct. This deep dive into the upcoming prequel from The Coalition should attach gameplay footage and perhaps a release window to the highly anticipated project.
