My outlook on the game.

Multiplayer , love it feels like COD-MW2. Lags like crazy with various bugs and issues. Including crashing randomly. Another peeve when your zoomed in with cross-hairs and you are under a weapon pick up that weapon pick up text covers the cross-hair which is rather stupid placement in my opinion.

Singleplayer, So far its mysterious how it starts out its so far great action and game-play. One BIG issue though, the game froze when I entered the sugar fields on the first mission. The Xbox froze completely where I had nothing left but to shut the console off and turn it back on. Also I lost the whole mission and have to start from scratch. SUCH BS for a final release.

Basically the game so far is great. Unfortunately having played for hours today noticing all of the issues it has I am sorely disappointed in the games final release quality. I played the game on 2 different consoles with 2 different discs with same issues, lag, crashes and freezing. Hopefully this will be worked out soon.

What was wrong with BC 2's launch for PC?

Everything. The server browser didnt work, the matchmaking was hardly better, if you somehow got onto a server you'd probably get kicked off within 3-4 mins by Punkbuster.

That was the experience of the first few days of BC2 :p

CoD:BO is better yes, but still bad atm. They need to sort this bug so the game stops jittering around. It's not connection lag its a game issue so affects all modes, online and offline :(.

The single player is lame. There is just so much action going on that it's way over the top. Every mission is a super battle vs the computer.. why isn't there any fun levels either? Each mission is shoot and get from point A to point B.

Have you never played a CoD game before, or do you just play them with your eyes shut?

The lag issues, are people experiencing them on the PC or the 360? I played this morning and ramped up a few ranks and I didn't experience any lag. I was playing team death-match under core.

BTW, so far I am loving all the MP maps. Haven't touched SP yet though.

Seems to be a problem for the majority of PC owners, console games are fine.

Nuketown is an abortion of a map, novelty wears off within seconds.

Have to agree, as much as I love the game, Nuketown is the ADHD-cesspool of the game - Oddly enough, it's always the screaming noisy kids that seem to like it. That map just needs to GTFO out of the voting cycle. Fortunately, most players I've been playing with feel exactly the same and I only played the map once. I do love the rest of the maps though, each very unique and balanced that provide a lot of possibilities. I've taken a liking to Radiation.

On another note, I'm really loving theatre mode - Progressive slow-motion, pausing, free-cam! I am in heaven and the timeline even shows kills and deaths.

OIC. I thought PC gamers were getting a dedicated server?

I also love the fact that the game now shows you who is actually in a party chat, so now you know why they are not talking/responding.

Yeah and the talk-icon shows up in-game - Brilliant feature. Been playing a ton of new people and it's a great way to get familiar with their voices. Hated that in other games when you were playing with new people, no idea who was talking which meant their tactical advice and shout-outs were useless :p

The PC version does have dedicated servers, the problem is not network lag, its FPS lag/stuttering. Happens in single player/zombies for lots of people as well.

Mine hasn't come yet (Thanks royal mail) but I'm not looking forward to getting on and having an unplayable PC game that cost twice as much as regular games.

The single-player latency / choppiness have been present ever since Call of Duty 4 on the PC - I've had it in every single game, can be running at 60-100FPS and it still feels like the image can't "sync" up to to speak ( No, not Vsync ). Shame they still haven't fixed that =/

They say it can happen on any hardware configuration and it's completely random.

It's a lot worse in black ops:

(bad quality video, but only one I can find)

There's something not right with it, a huge amount of people are reporting they have that even with i7 rigs etc..

Holy hell, that is a million times worse :| Even the PS3 is having problems I've heard, FPS drops etc.

Worst thing is Treyarch took their forums off-line all night last night, and they still haven't even publicly acknowledged there's a problem. Same old, same old huh.

Yeah, really is a shame - Just glad I'm a 360 player now, everything is working just fine except the overloaded matchmaking server.

Oh and by the way, for the gamers with female avatar: The codes for the two outfits in Hardened / Prestige plus the Gamestop code ( and where else it was given out ) was for the male avatar only, apparently.

Here's codes for the female versions

R76BQ-CR3MF-G2TTF-9G36R-BQWJD Woods Outfit.

Hmmm, had to try and take a screenshot in theatre mode to see how it turned out on when uploading it - Forza 3 esque miniature pictures

    • Windows 11 is a big thumbs down from me. I used for a period of a few days while it was in insider and windows 10 was the main OS, and realised it wasn't for me. I am still waiting for Windows to be tolerable again, a shame as at one point I was very pro Microsoft.
    • Classic outlook, not only does it have a much fuller feature set, it doesn't include Microsoft attempting to sync my emails from my servers to theirs. If classic outlook is ever removed from office, and the version I paid for in 2021 stops working for some reason, I'll use Thunderbird.

Through the MLT framework, Kdenlive integrates many plugin effects for video and sound processing or creation. Visual effects include options for masking, blue-screen, distortions, rotations, colour tools, blurring, obscuring and others. Configurable keyboard shortcuts and interface layouts. Rendering is done using a separate non-blocking process so it can be stopped, paused and restarted. Kdenlive also provides a script called the Kdenlive Builder Wizard (KBW) that compiles the latest developer version of the software and its main dependencies from source, to allow users to try to test new features and report problems on the bug tracker. Project files are stored in XML format. An archiving feature allows exporting a project among all assets into a single folder or compressed archive. • Here's how to watch the Xbox Games Showcase today and what to expect by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The June games showcase week has been a packed one, with everything from major presentations like Sony and Summer Game Fest to indie-focused reveals coming in almost every day. Now, it's almost time for another big one, with Microsoft bringing its Xbox Games Showcase back later today. This is a double feature too, with a Gears of War E-Day deep dive also being attached to it. For anyone wanting to tune in online, the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase is kicking off at 10 AM PT | 1 PM ET | 6 PM BST | 7 PM CEST later today, June 7. The event will be available to watch on the official Xbox YouTube (4K 60FPS), Twitch, Facebook, Steam, Amazon Live, and other portals. Separate livestreams for American Sign Language and Audio Description will also be available. "This year marks 25 years of XBOX, and this Showcase is poised to be a true celebration, offering world premieres, new gameplay, fresh updates, and more for a swathe of projects we cannot wait to share," said Microsoft about this presentation. With a new CEO behind it that is pulling off some interesting moves, Xbox may have some surprises to reveal today. New looks at first-party games like Halo Campaign Evolved from Halo studios, Fable from Playground Games, InXile Entertainment's Clockwork Revolution, Mojang's Minecraft Dungeons II, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Infinity Ward are to be expected here. We may finally get to see the new Blade from Arcane Studios in action and a new Persona game from Atlus at the showcase too. Surprise announcements may also arrive from other Microsoft-owned studios like Bethesda, MachineGames, Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Rare, World's Edge, or Blizzard. Considering how every new release nowadays is staying away from November and December to avoid Grand Theft Auto VI's release, any launch dates Microsoft announces will probably skip those months as well. Once the Xbox Games Showcase ends, Microsoft will immediately kick off the Gears of War: E-Day Direct. This deep dive into the upcoming prequel from The Coalition should attach gameplay footage and perhaps a release window to the highly anticipated project.
