Watched a buddy play it. Not impressed. Seemed like the same old bull****. Bought the game for brother's b-day, so I'll watch him play/do some co-op and see if that changes my mind.

Looking at achievements, seems like an easy 1000, guess I'll wait till DLC to see what achievements for that are.

this game for me it's quite disappointing... :(

Generally i have to agree, i believe the MW2 campaign was better, not as "good" in terms of story but certainly better for gameplay. Though. I do like the "gore" in this one >.< i guess they were avoiding an airport scene? :p

Can someone explain why, when I'm stealing enemy care packages you rarely to never get the contents - They just disappear, Is that supposed to happen or is it a bug?

o.O not had the chance to steal anyones yet (well, i almost did, was too slow and died) but that certainly sounds like a bug

I have stolen enemy care packages on the X360 version fine. I stole a chopper gunner. :D

At first, I thought it was a new 'feature', stealing would just remove them from the game rather than getting the contents. Then I stole my third or fourth and suddenly got that useless Grim Reaper and I was like "What the ..." - The next few I yoinked, I got nothing.

Oh so that's why I see nobody using it, it's that good.

The only time people should use it is if you haven't unlocked the AK74u yet. :p

That's definitely a bug. I've stolen a bunch of care packages and not one has disappeared on me.

Still spending more time trying to rejoin party after it closes trying to search for a match. Srsly, I've spent hours of joining/dropping from party then I have actual multiplayer.

I'd rather have MW2 back from the beginning and running around doing the javelin glitch :p

... Okay I'll buckle and give you that, THEN I WON'T BUDGE ANOTHER INCH! >.>

I've been robbed, sit there exposed, snatch it and you get sod all :(

Sikh, you need to stop with those 'tard rants because they rarely make sense and it just sounds like you are a bit too angry and bitter.

What the hell does Activision or Kotick or this entire Call of Duty ordeal have to do with the fact, that IW made some poor development decisions in the design phase that effected core gameplay?

How old are you that you have to keep saying "Fagtick" over and over in your posts? Not only that but why would another developer take on extra work to fix a game they didn't develop themselves and are currently in the process of developing their OWN game?

Just kind of think you're arguing a moot point and are too obsessed with Kotick.

It will be interesting to play the game and see how well it is made compared to their earlier titles, I was reading an article yesterday and they pointed out that this will be the first time Treyarch have only been doing one game, hopefully it leads to the apparent higher quality.

And Sikh there is no excuse for purposely releasing a bad game, atleast the way you are putting it, it would be a kick in the balls to it's fanbase.

Not sure if that whole matchmaking thing is working, lol.

At the moment I am in a game, on my team are levels, 16, 16, 13, 10, 9, all with a ratio of 1 and under.

The other team is made up of 45, 41, 38, 33, 29, 16, all with a ratio over 3 besides the level 16 guy.

Didn't work out well for my team, lol.

Yeah I got the laser cell thing. I had no clue it came with it. But I did notice it came with an authenticity certificate? Will these things be worth anything in the future?

I am thinking it actually may be worth something as silly as it is. The certificate of authenticity really makes it fairly legit, and it says they only made 100,000 of them, and considering it has sold millions of copies already, I am thinking there may be some people who want it. I am going to put it on Ebay and find out, that is for sure.

That's what I used to do with my preorders in the UK & our retailer GAME.

Every purchase rewards you with points which meant more money off the next game. Although eventually I found a game cheaper elsewhere so it broke the chain :p

Well if Amazon keeps up the crappy delivery, I may have to break the chain as well, but it is a nice chain so far, basically have now gotten 4 games in a row for $40 with no tax and free (albeit it horrible) shipping. Not shabby at all.

oohh.. so I was right?

Someone agreeing with you doesn't mean your right, just you have similiar opinion on the subject, lol.

And you prefer crappier games. ;P

hence forth, he agrees that I am right to my opinion ;). and no... I don't prefer crappier games :p. Saved money for AC B coming out on Tues ^.^

FAO PC Users:

Care to post your button config?

I'm really struggling to find a comfortable setup

WASD as normal

Q for special grenade

E for lethal

CTRL for toggled crouch

space for stand/jump

C for prone

left mouse button - shoot

right mouse button - ads

middle mouse button - melee

5 for grenade laucher etc

6 for killstreak

*sigh* I realised last night why I was having problems on the one level, everytime I restarted at that checkpoint I missed the barrel talk, which stops the spawning after kicking them.

Such a noob sometimes, lol

The matchmaking system have never found games according to rank, goes for connection quality only.

    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
