Manchester United are expected to complete the signing of Aalesunds goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard in the coming days.

United are believed to have agreed a fee in the region of ?3.5 million for Denmark goalkeeper Lindegaard, 26, after he impressed the club?s goalkeeping coach, Eric Steele, over the course of several scouting trips.

Aalesunds chairman Bjarne Haagensen confirmed to TV2 that he has travelled to England along with the club?s chief executive, Henrik Hoff, this week to hold talks.

?Henrik and I are in place in Manchester,? he said. Asked if a deal was close, he replied: ?It is. We are in the middle of it. I can?t say more right now. We will send a press release in three or four hours.? (ESPN)

It's done deal with Lindegaard. I'm very curious to watch him play.

yep

Manchester United have completed the signing of Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard from Aalesunds.

United have been chasing a new keeper for the past few months and were strongly linked with the likes of David De Gea and Gianluigi Buffon, but Sir Alex Ferguson has opted for Lindegaard.

The 26-year-old passed a medical in Manchester earlier this week and has now signed a deal until 2014 after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

Lindegaard will train with United from now, but he will not be eligible to play until the transfer window re-opens on 1st January.

Ferguson was delighted to get his man, commenting: "Anders is one of the brightest young keepers in the game.

"The challenge at Manchester United is always to look to the future and in Anders, we have signed a goalkeeper of great presence and even more promise.

"Having the time to train with him before he is registered will be an important period for him - almost like a pre-season to get him integrated with the other players."

Lindegaard added: "Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me.

"The club is such an institution in Denmark, it's an honour to come here.

"I'm looking forward to playing and training alongside some of the great players in football today.

"I can't wait to be part of this team and to make my contribution to keeping the team at the top of the game."

Manchester United look set to snap up Bayern Munich skipper Bastian Schweinsteiger in January, according to Talksport.

The German ace?s contract is due to expire in 18 months time and Bayern are reportedly fearing he has already decided to join United.

With his contract running down, the German champions have apparently offered to make him their highest paid player ever with a contract worth around ?140,000 per week.

However, that will not be enough to stop him announcing his intention to move to Old Trafford and take on another challenge ? to replace United legend Paul Scholes.

And, if he does want to leave, Bayern will demand at least ?25 million for his services in the forthcoming transfer window.

Despite Sir Alex Ferguson insisting no one will be joining Manchester United in January, the club have reportedly tied up a deal for Denmark keeper Anders Lindegaard and are now targeting Schweinsteiger.

And with Scholes coming to the end of his career, having missed a chunk of Manchester United?s season already, Fergie is looking to add some much needed creativity to the Red Devils? midfield. (Give Me Football ? Official PFA Website)

In other news, beckham has signed on a free to Everton. At this time it is uncertain whether it is David or Victoria. Though Moyes has said he fancies his chances of taking the signing to bed, the concensus is that it will be David signing. Thus confirming Moyes is a *** ..

Munich better hold onto him. He's their workhorse.

i really hope he does not leave bayern but he would be an insane buy. They are still trying to build around him with all the youth players coming through.

haha?

yes sir! but were Alessandro and Francesco considered the figure of their clubs at that age? (I'm pretty sure Gerrard was the face of Liverpool only 4 years ago)

i've just looked up ADP and Totti's ages, and i am inclined to think yes they were the face at that age...

Totti defo was, i'm not 100% sure on ADP as he would have had quite some competition @ 26 (year 2000) namely zidane? :D

Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until 2012.

Australian Schwarzer, 38, who moved to Craven Cottage from Middlesbrough in 2008, was linked with Arsenal during the last transfer window.

"He was obviously very flattered by the interest. We're delighted that he's decided to stay here and we can move forward now," said manager Mark Hughes.

Schwarzer added he was "delighted" to have ended speculation over his future.

"The club, manager and team have all highlighted their desire to see me stay at the Cottage and after successful negotiations I can confirm that my future is with Fulham," Schwarzer told the Furlham website.

puts pay to the rumour of him joining Arsenal again :p

Lucas Leiva is excited by Liverpool's apparent interest in AC Milan star Ronaldinho.

Lucas has backed the move, believing his fellow Brazilian can change the path to fortune for the Reds.

"I am not aware of anything in terms of Ronaldinho signing, but I would be very happy if this was to happen," Lucas told Globoesporte.

"We started a friendship when we played in the Olympics and for Brazil. It would be nice to play with him at Liverpool.

"Everyone knows Ronaldinho and they know what he can do."

Skysports.com understands Glen Johnson's Liverpool future is in doubt with the club looking at right-back transfer targets.

Johnson's future has been the subject of conjecture in recent weeks after Reds boss Roy Hodgson publicly stated his disappointment with the England star's form so far this term.

The former Chelsea and Portsmouth man was thought to be unhappy with Hodgson's public criticism and is considering a move away from Anfield when the transfer window reopens next month.

Juventus have been strongly linked with a move for Johnson with the Bianconeri keen to bolster their defence in January.

Former Reds boss Rafa Benitez is also thought to be keen on bringing Johnson to Inter Milan having signed the defender during his time at the helm at Anfield.

Johnson is understood to be interested in a move abroad if the club decide to listen to offers for his services in the New Year.

As a result Liverpool have been drawing up a shortlist of possible replacements for Johnson should he leave Merseyside.

    • Studio MDHR reveals Cuphead sequel and an 8-bit platformer spin-off by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Studio MDHR has been rather silent about its next major gaming project since the release of Cuphead back in 2017. However, that ended today during the Summer Game Fest presentation, with the studio revealing not one but two project announcements. First, the studio confirmed that it is currently in the middle of developing a brand-new Cuphead game, bringing back the iconic characters for another adventure. Just like the last game, this is slated to be a fully hand-animated endeavor. This also means there isn't a release date attached to it yet. “Craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do here at Studio MDHR,” says co-founder Chad Moldenhauer. “When it came time to peel back the curtain and share a little bit about what we’ve been up to, we couldn’t imagine a more fun way to do so than with today’s Special Bulletin. The studio is working on this new Cuphead with help from Toronto’s Stop Motion Department and Continue Agency. At the same time, Studio MDHR also revealed that another part of the team has been working on a different Cuphead installment. Dubbed the Mighty Cuphead Adventure, this is taking a different art direction to the original. "In true Studio MDHR fashion, this game goes beyond just taking inspiration from the classics of the 1980s… it is actually built with technology of the era," the studio explained. "That's right: Mighty Cuphead Adventure is programmed in assembly language and designed with the exacting specifications of the Sega Master System home gaming console in mind." Aside from releasing on PC and modern consoles, Mighty Cuphead Adventure will even be playable on the 1985-released Sega Master System. A release date has not been announced just yet.
    • Any decent ITSM will A) have a web form that allows a user to raise a ticket, if you're writing an email you can write a ticket. B) Monitor a mailbox and auto-generate tickets based on inbound mails for those users that really can't get their heads around the concept that if you have an issue you go to support.mycompany.com and fill in the box. From your description you're having users email the desk, and then having a human read each one and manually raise a ticket on behalf of the user.

    • Fixing things? Have you ever tried linux? Everything works out of the box nowadays in most common hardware. This includes Wifi and Bluetooth. If anything, if they return back to windows is because they haven't found an equivalent program which often used on windows.
