^ I can't help but laugh at that. Bellator pulled Rampage and Ortiz off of Impact Wrestling to keep them from getting injured and it happened anyway! :rofl: That's done ****ed up their first PPV; they should probably just move it to Spike and try a PPV later on.

 

And you who got the shortest end of the stick in all of this? EDDIE ######ING ALVAREZ. I sure hope his contract said that if the PPV is a no-go on that date, that he's a free agent.

 

Also, how the ###### do you break your neck training so close to the fight? Was he training getting slammed by Quinton in the cage, like Quinton always tries to do? No fakery there, no sir, Bellator is legit*

 

*And also associates way too much with pretend fighting.

UFN Manchester shows, once again, that the downed opponent rule needs to be changed. If one or both of your knees are on the floor, downed opponent. If you're just touching your hand on the mat but are on the soles of your feet, it should be legal.

UFC: Fight for the Troops 3 was pretty fun. There weren't any really bad fights, except for Green vs Krause, and it opened up some fun match-ups for future events.

 

Only 6 events left in the "season" until the end of 2013, where both of the PPV lined up have to potential to be the best PPV of the year, in terms of fights and PPV buys.

It's a pretty terrible card all around. Rafael Cavalcante vs Igor Pokrajac is the 3rd bout on the card. It's THAT bad. I'll still watch it. But it's bad.

What was it like, anyway? I forgot to set Sky+ to record it; haven't even looked at the results.

11 fights, 9 finishes. It ended up being a "fun" card but absolutely irrelevant, except for the main event.

Are we in for a shock?

 

Yes, maybe this time it will be 49-46 instead of the usual 50-45. :woot:

 

Josh Koscheck had a big right hand, got his eye socket broken for his troubles. If Hendricks doesn't close the deal in the first, he's in for a long night. His wins over Pierce and Kos are blueprints of how you can neutralize his power. The Condit fight, where he faded a bit in the 3rd, is also a troubling sign. GSP being GSP and gameplaning as he does, his chances aren't great. But we've already seen a massive upset in 2013. Another one would be something special, albeit not very likely.

Going to get my unpopular opinion in now....

 

GSP won that fight.

 

Yep. I said it.

I agree. it all came down to the first round,and that was close because they each got a takedown,and landed similar amount of strikes, but GSP got a sub in there. it surely wasn't a robbery like some folks seem to think, it was just a super close fight.

That's exactly what it was; only difference is I had it 48-47 to Hendricks rather than GSP. I'm surprised one of the judges didn't rule it a draw, to be honest; it really was that close. The way GSP talked in his post-match interview, we probably won't be seeing a rematch. :/

Lots of ###### score cards last night but the main event took the cake. In my eyes, Hendricks won that fight. He also came very close to finishing GSP, something not even Carlos Condit, probably the best striker GSP ever faced, could achieve.

      Here is the new Surface Laptop Ultra wallpaper in high resolution by Taras Buria Earlier this week, Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Ultra, its brand-new high-end laptop powered by NVIDIA's brand-new RTX Spark processor. As usual, Microsoft gives each new device a unique wallpaper, and the Surface Laptop Ultra is no exception. While the device is not publicly available yet, somebody has already extracted its wallpaper, giving everyone a chance to get a piece of the upcoming laptop in its full-resolution glory. The Surface Laptop Ultra has a very dark, abstract wallpaper that resembles the stock wallpapers in Windows Server, albeit with much less color. Having this dark, grim wallpaper highlights the laptop's mini-LED display and its ability to cut off parts of the screen's backlight to achieve OLED-like black levels. However, if you also like light wallpapers, we made a white version by simply inverting its colors. You can download both wallpapers below (click the image, right-click it, and select "Save as"): The Surface Laptop Ultra is expected to launch later this year.       From all that I've read on the subject--not that much, really--it looks to me like companies and parents are trying to protect themselves from children using their parents accounts to run up giant bills, sometimes in the thousands of dollars, and the first the parents know about it is when they get sued... Internet companies have been sued for tailoring their ads to children, which is kind of old news. My belief is that policing starts at home with the parents, and the reason that so many laws that can't be enforced are being passed is because parents are eschewing their responsibilities, claiming not enough time, not enough knowledge, etc. Giving kids cell phones sans Internet connectivity is a good place to start--confine Internet activity to PCs in the home that the parents regulate. My kids are all grown and gone, I'm happy to say... They have their own kids to worry about.

      BTW DXVK is also available on Windows and offers similar benefits like on Linux when it comes to performance, at least in some titles. The Raceroom racing sim for example even offers DXVK as one of its officially supported options and it can achieve ridiculous improvements in certain situations, like quite literally doubling (or more) the framerates
