I hate to say this one more time but, I made a little error, with the installer and I forgot to change the main slide, and it says "Welcme to Ubuntu" and shows 2 blank slides, if I change it it'll take about 30minutes to recreate the iso or should I release it now, and switch it later?

Up to you, either way it's not really a big deal and could wait for the next release.

Release now, put a notice up on your site or something later if you really want to; just a beta still anyways.

Ok, got that straightened out, but I realized I forgot to add the applet for easy wifi connectivity, I dont know where my mind is today.. It is currently building the ISO. It will be done very shortly and this time i mean it! :)

Yea when I tried the last fusion beta it was pretty hard to test because there was no wireless and my ethernet port is broken lol.

Could you verify for me that on Beta 2 there is a Wifi applet, because I have it running but I don't see it, so when you get please let me know! :)

Does this mean you put it up? Still working on the ISO? Just curious. Will the download to the torrent be the 'download' button on the site since it currently goes to nothing.

No it is still building the ISO, ~10 minutes till thats done and yes that download link will go directly to the torrent file.

Personally, I'm looking forward to giving this operating system a shot. I'm a huge fan of Linux, but most of the up-to-date Linux distributions out there are just horrible at best. Maybe this distribution will get me back into Linux again.

I thought I was the only one that felt that way. I'm not even running Linux at the moment, though I may give Mint 11 a try. Also, this one. It certainly looks different.

Alright it is done, and I am doing the final test almost done with that too. IT will be up very shortly! :D

Ok Valve, quit teasing and release it already ;)

Not a big fan of linux, never really looked into it. But I'll mess around with this (From a non linux user POV). Hopefully be able to provide some feedback on useability and such.

Exact same and that's all I'm doing as well.

    • Wow, lol.. afaik the feed burner one hasn't been supported for some time, so I am surprised it still works!
    • I usually future-proof the parts that are expensive to replace later. If I'm running new cables, I always choose Cat6 or Cat6a instead of the cheapest option. For switches, I buy one with a few extra ports so I have room to expand. I don't always chase the latest networking standard unless I actually need it. I've found that a reliable router and good Wi-Fi coverage make a bigger difference than raw speed for most home networks. Planning ahead has saved me from doing a complete network rebuild later.
    • Back when I used to watch cable television, I used the mute button continuously... I picked up the habit from my father who was doing that with his decent Zenith TVs back when they made decent products, say 60+ years ago. When cable debuted as "pay television" the scuttlebutt was that television was going ad-free. Hardy-har-har... We dropped Netflix years ago as the services and programming deteriorated. Services that force-feed me ads I don't care to see I tend to shun, but with computers and programmable Internet television at least the ads can either be blocked or else rejected 90% of the time. But some of the ads Google runs are either so bad or so fraudulent that it's hard to believe they are running.
    • That name is kind of disingenuous, they should have called it RTX 5085 or 5090 Lite.
