By the way dude (too late for me to edit the post below yours); have you ever purchased from that site? A search on Bing gives too many bad results, where people say they were banned from using the game (mostly Modern Warfare), when activated using a key purchased from that site.

Yeah, they're genuine. One of my mates bought a few CD keys from them a few months ago, and they're all still working. I remember he got Dragon Age II, can't remember the others he got though.

EA FY11: BF3 ?flat out superior? to CoD, losses trimmed

EA has said pre-orders for Battlefield 3 are hugely higher than those for Bad Company 2, and has shown solid results for both the full-year ending March 31 and its fiscal Q4.

EA lost $276 million in the year ended March 31, narrowed from the $677 million lost in the previous year, while sales stayed virtually unmoved at $3.589 billion compared to last year?s $3.654 billion.

Profit for the fourth quarter, ending March 31, was well up, at $151 million compared to $30 million in the previous corresponding period.

The company also said that Battlefield 3 pre-orders were up over 700 percent on Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the last game in the series which released last year.

?We know we have a big competitor, but head-to-head with Call of Duty in Q3, we have the superior game engine, a superior development studio, and a flat out superior game,? said Frank Gibeau. ?Our goal is to significantly gain share in the huge FPS category and to put the other team on defense.?

FIFA 11 has now sold 11 million units, EA said; Bad Company 2 has now moved 7 million; and NfS: Hot Pursuit and Madden 11 has now shifted 5 million apiece.

Those are some bold words from EA. As much as I'd like to agree with Frank Gibeau (EA exec), I don't think BF3 will beat CoD on consoles. I do, however, think that it'll utterly destroy it on the PC.

Battlefield 3 and FIFA 12 to be playable at Eurogamer Expo

Electronic Arts has announced its to show Battlefield 3 and FIFA 12 at this year?s Eurogamer Expo and allow folks to get some hands-on time with the titles.

Other EA titles will have play time available as well.

?Last year?s Eurogamer Expo was a huge success and we?re very happy to be supporting the show in force this year. We expect Battlefield 3 to blow people away when they get hands-on with it,? commented Stuart Lang, UK marketing director of EA.

?We?re delighted that EA is supporting the show with such a fantastic line-up,? added Rupert Loman, managing director of Eurogamer. ?This is just the first of many announcements in the run up to the biggest Eurogamer Expo ever.?

This comes at no surprise because the expo will take place in late-September (22nd-25th).

Stay tuned tomorrow for the very first images and new details on the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack! Includes interviews with the Lead Designer of Back to Karkand and the designer of the original Strike at Karkand map from Battlefield 2.

EA also said that medal of honor was gonna be better then CoD and that was the biggest lie in the history of lies. Honestly, if this game turns out to be better then good i'll be surprised. DICE has a lot to make up for IMO (destroying bc2 with crap patches and one jackass doing the weapon balance and MoH).

the only thing they are doing by saying its better then CoD is making themselves look like complete asshats (again...) and completely losing their trust of their customers.

EA does a good job at lying to people, look at how they lied to everyone about Crysis 2 and DX11 support...this had nothing to do with Crytek as they would have just said it isn't ready yet and held the release back but EA wanted that money and release date as is. EA also likes to screw stuff up as they did with BF2 by adding in Ranks and Stats which really hurt game play, team work and MOD play as many wouldn't play the mods that came out cause they were addicted to stats. Had EA allowed the stats to be carried over from mod play instead of "Ranked" "Unranked" servers then even today POE2 for example would have thousands of players!

Medal of Honor looked good, but it never looked as good as Battlefield 3 currently does. I honestly think Medal of Honor could have been better if given more time, too. It had solid gameplay in the singleplayer, but it was just incredibly buggy, had a poor story, and the multiplayer (by DICE) was just completely random and a blatant ripoff of Call of Duty.

DICE has a lot to make up for on the multiplayer front, but the singleplayer for this looks excellent. It's kind of surprising given DICE's history that the multiplayer is the most worrying aspect.

im sorry to add here that Medal of Honor was an amaizing game .. gameplay wise..

it did beat COD for me.. i still play it just to admire how little differences in gameplay mechanics can make a big difference. Its a different experience.. just like bad company 2..

lol @ FIFA 12, I'm sure most will be watching / Playing BF3 than some lame football game. Not sure why people call it the "beautiful game" it's anything but that.

With diving teams like Barcelona, definitely. :p

same, will not purchase till more info is released, wasn't too impressed with the whole faultlines thing. Need proper screen shots and mp footage, even if it's alpha / beta. I don't see the point of pre-ordering when there is next to no info. Some teaser videos do not count, nor does concept art.

12 minutes of pure gameplay footage is hardly a teaser video. MP won't be much different but.

    • O&O ShutUp10 3.1.1104 by Razvan Serea O&O ShutUp10 offers a simple yet effective way to take control of your Windows privacy. It provides access to almost 50 privacy-related tweaks, most of them hidden or not easily accessible to the average computer users. Using a very simple interface, you decide how Windows 10/11 should respect your privacy by deciding which unwanted functions should be deactivated. Using ShutUp10 you can easily disable Windows Defender, turn off telemetry, disable peer-to-peer updates, turn off Wi-Fi Sense, disable automatic Windows updates, turn off and reset Cortana and more. ShutUp10 allows you to create a System Restore point before you apply any changes, so that you can revert your system at any time if you run into problems. O&O ShutUp10 is entirely free and does not have to be installed – it can be simply run directly and immediately on your PC. And it will not install or download retrospectively unwanted or unnecessary software, like so many other programs do these days! O&O ShutUp10 Free and Premium The latest version brings O&O ShutUp10 Premium, expanding the app’s long-standing privacy controls with automatic enforcement of user-defined settings. Instead of manually rechecking options after every Windows update, users can set their preferred privacy configuration once—or apply recommended settings in a single click—and the tool continuously monitors them in the background. If Windows 10 or 11 re-enables disabled features or introduces new data collection paths, Premium restores the chosen settings automatically without user intervention. The free version remains available and fully functional for manual adjustments, offering the same core privacy controls for Windows. However, the Premium tier is aimed at users who want long-term, hands-off protection, adding automatic reapplication after updates, ongoing monitoring, and optional notifications to ensure privacy settings remain consistent over time. • Fascinating...W h i t e P o w e r is now also asterisks out.
    • In the past few days I have noticed two odd moderation activities. First, when I posted the term 'White Nationist Christian' it was asterisk's out. When I changed it to **** it was allowed! Second, in the Politics is a ###business thread I was allowed to post that the GOP is a party of p e d ophiles but I was censored  when I posted the GOP are a party of p e d ophile protectors. Wtf Neowin. Please explain.
