Well you should learn to read, it was mentionned plenty of times. And btw, Battlelog works great, much better than integrated server browser. I was against the idea at the beginning but all of that changed.

I'm sure it was but at least we know now it can be played offline.

I received my SpecAct code key from Amazon this morning but the postie has already been to my dads and my game is nowhere to be seen

Not very happy as I pre-ordered this game months ago and they only chose to dispatch it late yesterday! My brother tells me he receives things as late as 4 pm but I have a feeling I'm not going to be seeing the game today :( . I just can't wait dammnit!

No sign of my Amazon pre-order, and meanwhile people are picking up copies of the Limited Edition (which I thought was preorder ONLY) from the local supermarket.

It's great when you get screwed over as a consumer. A great big **** YOU to Royal Mail - you useless bunch of twats.

I think what hes getting at is the fact that the Battlelog plugins dont work in a 64bit browser which im guessing he uses full time, so he would have to load 32bit just to play BF3, thats one of the reasons i switched back to 32bit Firefox

Alright. Odd Seine Crossing question.

I can't remember the flag letter, but it's the flag that's in between multiple buildings in a court with a container in it. Anyway, if you shoot the building near it, the wall from the floor you shoot will fall down. If someone from the opposing team is standing under the falling wall chunks will they be killed?

Updated sig with new BF3 sig, so happy ^_^

Also ordered my PC yesterday...now i have to wait....I don't like waiting!!!! I was able to find my second Asus GTX 580 Platinum and already recieved it, sitting on my desk and I cant use it, its driving me crazy!!!!

Played last night for a bit and was unable to get any wins...my team always decides they just want to sit in the back and snipe, i would rush up and plant the Mcom and have no support, i would just look at the map and they are all in the back just sniping, not even sniping where they can cover the MCOM's /ragequit!!!!!

I change server when people does that. I had pretty good games last night !

I ended up doing that, but that screwed up my quit %, went from 1% to 5% last night lol, also went from a 3.6 W/L ratio to almost a 2.0.....i was raging something fierce last night, but i still had fun so thats all that matters.

Had one of the most intense conquest games before, Loving this so much more than I ever did Bad company 2

Anyone got tips on flying the jets with keyboard and mouse (Didn't play Bf2 very much)?

Otherwise I may need to connect my joystick

Turn your mouse sensitivity way up and slow down into turns and speed up out of them for more mobility, other than that I guess just press C to change view out of the cockpit to get a better field of vision to go after enemies, switch back into cockpit to shoot them ofc. :D Happy hunting and hope this helps in some way.

EDIT: Oh and don't forget you can press Shift in vehicles to activate Afterburners / Turbo's if the vehicle has them.

Question, has anyone tried the voice communication on Battlelog? if so, easy to use, sound is good, is it detrimental to performance, etc?

I am definitely going to try to play with a few friends this weekend on PC, and do not really have a teamspeak server or ventrillo server, and even though it is cheap enough to rent one monthly, if the voice comms on battlelog work and do not cause any performance issues, we will just use them. TIA, DL

Nope, they're working just fine for me. It has push to talk and hands-free mode. Tried it with a friend, it's just a little tricky to get to the settings. The settings automatically save, so no need to push a save button or anything like that.

Exactly the same situation here and now I feel like an absolute idiot for even bothering to pre order.

Words cannot describe the amount of hate I have for the Royal Mail, the other day I caught a postie just outside seconds after he left a "sorry you were out card" and when I asked him to give me my item as I was obviously not out, he confessed to not having even brought it with him essentially hoping I would do his god damn job for him. RAGE!!!!

    • Meta launches new AI glasses in 26 styles and Muse Spark multimodal capabilties by Pradeep Viswanathan Meta today announced a new line of Meta Glasses in partnership with EssilorLuxottica. The new AI glasses build on the company’s existing smart glasses portfolio, which is sold under the Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta brands. The new Meta Glasses start at just $299, are compatible with prescription lenses, and will be available in 26 styles across different colors, lenses, and frames. At launch, Meta Glasses will be available in three frame styles. The Meta Adventurer features a clean rectangular design and comes in Standard and Large sizes. The Meta Fury is a bolder frame for users who want a stronger look. Meta Glasses by Kylie is a slim oval frame designed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. Similar to existing Meta AI Glasses, the new Meta Glasses include a dedicated action button that can be used to quickly access Meta AI or launch a favorite feature. They also feature open-ear speakers for calls, music, and more. Meta has also included a multi-mic array with wind noise reduction for calls and messaging. Users can capture photos and videos hands-free using voice commands. Meta claims more than eight hours of battery life, while the portable charging case can provide up to 40 additional hours. As expected, Meta Glasses come pre-loaded with Meta AI powered by Muse Spark from day one. Muse Spark is the first model from Meta Superintelligence Labs with improved multimodal capabilities. The same Meta AI upgrade is also now available on existing Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta Glasses in the US and Canada via an update. With the Muse Spark-powered AI assistant, Meta AI in the new glasses can provide smarter answers, understand what the user is seeing, and help with daily tasks such as calendar management and navigation. Meta also announced an upcoming feature called the dynamic photo feature, which captures multiple frames and recommends the best one. Pedestrian navigation is also coming soon to these glasses. Meta is also adding support for 14 new live translation languages, including Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, and Korean. The new Meta Glasses are available starting today through Meta.com, Best Buy, Amazon, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, and select retailers.
    • is that a personal preference? whether it is or isn't, i get where you're coming from. i try to get and use fully open sourced applications whenever i can but there are instances where i find a superior product that is closed sourced. in these cases i do my best to learn about the company, who operates it, their background, parent and sub structure etc. to some extent, depending on "the smell test". i really believe that Syncback is really and truly something great. even if you don't use it, it's always worth a recommendation to someone else, especially if that someone else is not very computer literate. for someone of your calibre you, you'll manage just fine with Syncthing, no doubt about it.
    • I agree, especially if it is cloud sourced, like this one is.. but I wouldn't say no to a local AI assistant similar to the Zettlab one which would be really helpful with my large Photos library, but also to perform tasks like installing Docker apps rather than me having to do it via Docker Compose, but I don't think we're quite there yet. Synology Photos is somewhat AI, you can ask it to search for certain people (if you have tagged them and it will attempt to match similar photos to the person) and if you put a search term in for "cars" for example, it will show you all photos with a car.
