I never seen an issue wrong with the BFBC2 SP. I'll still play the single player, just to get the achievements. I bought the game just for the multi-player.

Oh wow. Huge difference. I thought it was strictly textures.

No idea objects were effected.

I was wondering where the ejecting shells were in game :D

Me too. As for the ejecting shells, I never noticed that in any of the screenshots or videos.

so the ps3 version looks like the none HD texture pack versoin?

No, the PS3 version will automatically install the HD textures since the installation is mandatory. The installation for the X360 version will be optional because not every X360 has a hard drive.

****ty for those who don't... they are getting a ps2 looking game otherwise.

What?

You are allowed to talk about it just not where you got it from, always has been the case in the past. Dont start deleting my posts.

It hasn't always been that way. Incidentally, that particular rule change happened because BC2 leaked earlier and people were talking about it before release and drama ensued.

I knew the lighting looked better with the PC version, but those screenshots really show how much better it is.

:woot: One more day!!! :woot:

Hope my SSD arrives today. I want to have everything up and running smoothly before release.

I can't believe all the money I've spent just for this game.

After a smooth beta I still went ahead and installed another HD6870 for a crossfire setup.

But after all the fun I had in Caspian Border, I know it'll all be worth it after countless hours of gaming!

I'm so stoked!

Since one 6870 gave you smooth performance, send your second card to me ASAP.

I'll have to settle for the X360 version until I get a new gaming PC. My HD4870 isn't enough anymore. :(

My friends 4870 ran the beta quite well.

The beta ran somewhat well on the auto setting; however, I didn't notice anything different in terms of image quality or performance with low, medium, and high. As for the resolution, I always play at my monitor's native resolution of 1680x1050. I guess what's holding me back is my Core2Duo E6750 @ 3.2 GHz.

Hmm...

The processor is where the problem is, I think. Otherwise, 4870 is still a beast.

He was running it with a i3 540 @ 4.4 GHz.

He was able to play it at 1080p with medium settings. FPS would be around..., say, 30-35.

But it was smooth.

In case you don't need it, send it to me.

I desperately need a new video card. :(

From IGN, it looks like they focused too heavily on Multi player and left single player to die on its own.

I was really looking forward to the single player.

I guess MW3 won't disappoint me there.

Sad that the destruction isn't turned on during single player according to the review. I'm still going to play it to get the achievements for X360.

These reviews....

The game is clearly far from perfect and yet it gets near perfect scores, it's just silly. Gamespy gives it 5/5 but many of the cons they list are pretty bad, I understand that its mainly a MP game but given how much was put into the SP campaign, you can't just ignore it when it comes to your final score.

I'm sure MW3 will also get a perfect score when it comes out regardless of any faults.
