Apple Sues Samsung Electronics Over 'Galaxy' Phone, Tab

Recommended Posts

Well, touchwiz is a designed to mimic ios

Maybe a little but it took Apple over a year to sue Samsung over this. If Samsung wasn't doing so well, then I doubt they will be sued.

There are also launcher apps that are designed to mimic iOS. Why are they not being sued? Probably cuz Samsung has deeper pockets :)

Apple is going to lose this one hard. What a waste of time and money.

The Galaxy Tab looks NOTHING like the iPad, I don't know what those guys at Apple are smoking. Also, while the Galaxy phones resemble the iPhone a little bit, I don't see this holding any ground.

You guys don't have a clue of why Apple is suing. They are suing because samsung is trying to imitate the same icons, style and positions of these with the same as the iPhone. This is nothing about Apple being evil, they just trying to protect what years of research and development has pay off.

i agree with last picture, but

1. is it default desktop of galaxy s? i mean isn't default comes with clock and some more widges. and what you see is actually result of customization.

2. picture of keyboards and browsers are ridiculous. apple did not invest at compatible keyboard layout. neither apple invented layout of browser's window.

"Rather than innovate and develop its own technology and a unique Samsung style for its smart phone products and computer tablets, Samsung chose to copy Apple's technology, user interface and innovative style in these infringing products,"

BHAHAHAHAHA

This coming from Apple is priceless.

Why are they only suing samsung, considering they invented the tablet. Shouldn't they sue motorola, MS, and every other company that has one as well. Or is this like a warning shot.

Apple did not invent the tablet computer.

If this is true, i really hope samsung give it to apple.

apple didnt invent the tablet. Tablets have been around for years. Windows xp had tablet features.

Apple did not invent the tablet computer.

i should of added [/sarcasm] in there rofl. oh and linky :D

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates.
