Accessories for Samsung Galaxy S20 to be delayed thanks to coronavirus

In less than two weeks, Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S20 series at its Unpacked event in San Francisco. Unfortunately, it turns out that you might not be able to get your hands on the accessories that you want right away. According to MobileFun, accessories coming out of China are set to be delayed because of the coronavirus in Wuhan.

MobileFun says that it's already been receiving emails from suppliers about delays, as most cases and screen protectors come out of China. You might end up having to wait until the outbreak is sorted.

To add to the delays, China has extended its Lunar New Year holiday by three days, so it doesn't actually end until February 2. The idea is that fewer people are likely to travel or return to work, helping to contain the spread of the virus. This is the biggest holiday of the year in China, so its extension will impact shipping.

MobileFun says that it will have Galaxy S20 accessories at launch, but that supply will definitely be limited. Unfortunately, there's no solid date for when things will go back to normal.
