After nearly 14 years, Ubisoft announces a prequel to Beyond Good and Evil

It's been nearly 14 years since the release of the classic and much beloved game, Beyond Good and Evil for the original Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Windows, but today, during Ubisoft's keynote at E3 2017, the company announced a prequel, Beyond Good and Evil 2.

The company didn't say much else about the game, such as when it will be available, or which consoles it will be available for. The YouTube video above does link to a website in the description, although much of it doesn't seem to work. You can also follow for updates on Twitter and Facebook.

If you've never played the original Beyond Good and Evil, you can. While the game was originally released in 2003, it was offered again in 2011 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and the former version is backward compatible with the Xbox One. You can purchase it here, for $9.99.
