Amazon Fire TV and Kindle updated with new features

Amazon has finally begun to deliver their long awaited updates to Fire TV and Kindle.

The update for the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick include two notable features. One of them is that there is now a "Your Videos" section of the main menu. This consolidates the menu a bit and makes it more comprehensive.

The other feature is Alexa, Amazon's voice assistant that was made popular with the Echo. The feature is already available in the second generation models of the devices.

Kindle devices received a significant update as well. Since the birth of Kindle, the home screen has largely remained the same. Amazon has now changed that.

The new home screen claims to improve navigation, help the user find books, and keeps track of what the user wants to read.
