Amazon slashes 29% off the Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos to $49.99

Amazon's Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD and Alexa Voice Remote became available last September for $69.99, but you can now buy it for a good deal less this weekend.

Amazon is currently offering the Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD at 29% off than its regular price, bringing it down to $49.99.

The current gen also supports Dolby Atmos audio, as well as voice search capabilities. A micro USB for power or optional Amazon Ethernet Adapter is also available.

Amazon says that viewers can enjoy "500,000+ movies and TV episodes" from popular channels and apps including Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, HBO, SHOWTIME, NBC, and more, along with access to apps, music and games.

The Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD comes with a Voice Remote, USB cable and power adapter. You can also get the non 4K HD variant for just $29.99 this weekend, which is 25% off its normal $39.99 list price.

Update: This deal, which included a referral link so that Neowin would get a bit of commission on each sale, has now ended at Amazon.
