ApexDC++ is an innovative Direct Connect client based on StrongDC++. It has numerous features such as intelligent chunk spreading (super seeding), PeerGuardian plugin, customisation, themes, and a brand new user friendly GUI. 0.3.0 is a major release and includes grabbing of a user's external IP, a new GUI, chat formatting, and loads of configurable features per hub.
The open source program recently passed 110,000 downloads and is currently gaining popularity everyday. If you're new to Direct Connect, this client is aimed at beginners with it's guides section available for anybody having trouble.
