Asus Transformer AiO with Windows 8-Android due Q2 2013 for $1,299

Way back in June at Computex 2012, Asus showed off the Transformer AiO, a PC that had an 18.4-inch touchscreen and could dual boot both Windows 8 and Android. We were beginning to wonder it we would ever see this unique PC on store shelve. Today, Asus confirmed that the Transfoirmer AiO would finally be released in the US sometime in the second quarter for the price of $1,299.

Asus says that the PC will have the single largest display ever for running Android, running on NVIDIA's Tegra 3 processor. On the Windows 8 side, the Transformer AiO will have an Intel Core i5-3350P chip, along with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M graphics chip with 2 GB of RAM. The PC will have 8 GB of memory and a 1 TB hard drive.

The PC has a 10-point multitouch screen and be used either as an all-in-one PC with its docking station or as a really big 5.3 pound tablet. Asus claims that when used in tablet form it will last for up to five hours on its battery. It will be interesting to see what the market is for such a unique product.
