Bundle Stars becomes Fanatical, starting November 1st

Online gaming storefront and one of the largest bundle-offering sites of its kind, Bundle Stars, was launched back in 2012. It celebrated its fifth anniversary just last month, and is a staple of our Weekend PC Game Deals posts, housing "over 4,500 officially licensed PC games sourced from over 750 publishers". In a rather interesting move however, the site has unveiled that come November 1st, it'll have a new name: Fanatical.

Here's the accompanying launch teaser:

While the name is changing, the same team behind Bundle Stars will still be in charge of Fanatical. Moreover, here's what you can expect from the new portal:

Our slick new website will be launched here at fanatical.com on November 1st. We’ve been working hard on our new platform for many months, and we’re thrilled that you’ll be able to experience it soon. We’ve made many performance enhancing improvements based on feedback from our customers. A polished new look, improved navigation, lightning-fast page load times, and all-new search with powerful filtering are just some of the great new things you’ll see.

The Bundle Stars domain will be retired on November 1st, and existing customers will be able to use their login credentials for the old site to sign into their Fanatical account. Purchases and unused keys will also transfer over to the new site.

Fanatical, the "evolutionary new chapter" in the site's history, seems to be more than a simple branding change, expanding the original scope of Bundle Stars. Beyond the regular Star Deals, bundles and pre-order offers that the old site offered, there will also be the Fanatical Blog:

We’re also looking forward to introducing you to the Fanatical Blog, written by gamers for gamers. This will be your trusted source of news on the latest PC games that you really care about, along with insightful articles that introduce you to our team and help you get the most out of using our website.
