The Epic Games Store has just kicked off another giveaway. The weekly offer for PC gamers has concluded the previous Havendock and Hyper Echelon offers, and to replace them, a copy of Clone Drone in the Danger Zone has landed. The title is yours to add permanently to your Epic Games Store library within the next seven days.

Released in 2021 by Doborog Games and widely well-received by its community, Clone Drone in the Danger Zone lands as a voxel-based slice-em-up action game where you take control of robot gladiators attempting to survive deadly arenas. The gameplay involves cutting portions of robots with the provided swords, where any hit can kill or dismember.

For solo play there are multiple options. There is a campaign containing an alien invasion story, an endless mode for fighting across seven difficulty tiers while facing 86 variant levels, and a challenge mode that has you only wielding rudimentary weapons.

"In addition to looking cool, the ability to cut off body parts is central to the gameplay," added the developer about its voxel dismemberment gameplay. "Jumping on one leg is a common occurrence. Large enemies need to be cut down to size before a fatal blow can be delivered."

As for multiplayer, there's online co-op, private 1v1 duels, a battle royale Last Bot Standing mode, as well as a team battle option that was only added earlier in March.

The Clone Drone in the Danger Zone giveaway on the Epic Games Store is set to run until April 9, giving PC gamers seven days to claim the latest offer. Once this closes out, a new freebie will take its place on the same day. Mobile gamers should also check out the Epic Game Store's weekly giveaways on Android and iOS as well.
