Controversial porn site for sale

Thanks OPaul and bonobozoot. Whitehouse.com, the pornographic website that features nubile "interns" rather than middle-aged presidents, announced on Tuesday that its domain name is up for sale.

The site claims 85 million visitors since 1997 -- many of whom doubtless intended to visit whitehouse.gov, the official website of the President of the United States.

Site owner Dan Parisi said family matters prompted him to place the profitable web address on the market.

"Since launching the site, I've become a father, and no longer care to be involved in the adult content world," Parisi said in a press release.

Parisi said he originally intended to create a forum for political discussion, but realised he could make more money providing sexually explicit material (Oh so THAT was the reason for the name  -Ed). The site now attracts more than two million visitors each month and generates more than US$1mil per year, he said.
