Creative launches its first TWS earphones, the Outlier Air, in India

Creative has announced the launch of Creative Outlier Air in India. The Outlier Air are the company’s first true wireless stereo (TWS) in-ear earphones and work with both Android and iOS, and support both Siri and Google Assistant.

The company claims that the Outlier Air is built with a high-performance 5.6mm graphene driver diaphragm that is acoustically optimized for superior audio quality capable of driving detailed highs and rich bass. Graphene’s light weight and strength prevent unwanted distortions and vibrations in the sound output.

The headphones are powered by a Qualcomm QCC302x series chip with smoother connectivity and advanced features such as Qualcomm aptX audio and Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo Plus. The Qualcomm aptX codec is known to offer rich, enhanced sound quality for a premium and immersive listening experience.

The Outlier Air supports Bluetooth 5.0 for low-energy transmission, helping the earphones draw lesser energy than Bluetooth 4.2, with improved performance. The Outlier Air boasts of extended battery life, providing 10 hours on a single charge, and together with two charging cycles on its charging case, a total of 30 hours.

The Outlier Air are designed for a comfortable fit to offer noise isolation and the IPX5 certification makes them sweat-proof so you should be okay taking them for a long run or hitting the gym, but you probably shouldn'ttake a shower in them.

Like all TWS earphones in the market, the Creative Outlier Air too comes in a compact casing, made from aluminum in this case. The case helps you neatly store the earphones when not in use as well as charge them in the meantime.

The Creative Outlier Air is available exclusively on Amazon.in at a special launch price of ₹6,999 (roughly $92) valid till June 14 beyond which the product will be available for ₹7,999 ($106).
