Cupidtino goes into open-beta

A new dating site, Cupidtino has just gone into open beta. The site is dedicated to people who love Apple products, in the hopes of helping them find other people who love Apple products.

This is the first dating site which targets Apple users only, but that is not where the Apple connection ends on the site; if you sign up and make a profile, you will see that the entire site is dedicated to Apple's products. If you see somebody that you like on the website, or wish to contact, you "Mac" them (which is in fact very similar to a "poke" on other sites). The site also recommends if you are meeting someone, then a perfect place for your first meeting would be an Apple Store, where the two of you can peruse the wears of the store and discuss your passion for Apple products. In fact, the site even calculates the best Apple store for your to meet at.

The most shocking news about the site is that it is only accessible for users with a Mac, iPhone, or iPad, which seriously limits the market size they are targetting.

With the site being the first of its kind, it will be interesting to see how well it is taken. The 3 San Francisco based developers are banking on the fact that people require their future partner to be interested in or own Apple products, which many may not see as the ultimate "deal maker" or "deal breaker".
