Dell announces the Inspiron Gaming Desktop 5676 with Ryzen processors

Two months ago, Dell introduced a trio of gaming laptops in place of its former Inspiron Gaming brand, the G3, G5, and G7. As it turns out though, the Inspiron Gaming brand is sticking around for a little while on the desktop side of things, as the company today announced the Inspiron Gaming Desktop 5676.

The new Inspiron includes AMD's second-generation Ryzen processors, along with up to an AMD Radeon RX580 GPU with 8GB GDDR5. You can have it configured with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, and up to a 256GB SSD and a 2TB HDD. It has a single USB 3.1 Type-C port, and up to six easily accessible USB 3.0 Type-A ports.

As you can see from the image above, it also contains interior LED lighting, which is pretty much to make it look cool. The Inspiron Gaming Desktop 5676 is coming on June 12, and it will start at $849.99.

Dell also announced some new Alienware peripherals and software today. The Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse has four five-gram weight adjustments, nine to 11 programmable buttons, and 512k onboard memory. It also customizes the LED lighting with AlienFX, and supports themes from over 130 games. The Elite Gaming Mouse will be available on July 31 for $89.99.

There's a new Alienware Wireless Headset, the AW988. This also has customizable LED lighting, with up to 6.8 million colors, and it's built for quality and comfort. The AW988 will be available on June 11 for $229.

And there are some new software experiences coming. There are improvements to the Alienware Command Center, and there's a new Alienware Arena app that's coming to Android on June 12. This will allow you to log into and manage your account, earn rewards, read about gaming news, and more.
