Dell introduces the premium Latitude 7410 Chromebook Enterprise

Dell is introducing some premium new Chromebooks for businesses today. It's the Latitude 7410 Chromebook Enterprise, and it comes in standard laptop and 2-in-1 flavors. In fact, Dell says that it's the first Chromebook to be configurable as either a laptop or a 2-in-1 model, and you can choose from colors like Titan Grey machined aluminum and Abyss Black carbon fiber weave.

In that way, the laptops are similar to their Windows counterparts. They come with Intel's 10th-generation processors, up to a Comet Lake quad-core Core i6, and a 14-inch screen that can be configured with UHD resolution. That UHD panel is the first that has integrated blue light reduction.

Dell is once again touting battery life in its Latitude lineup, promising 21 hours of juice from this one. The firm also claims that that's the best battery life of any Chrome OS convertible, and of course, you can get 80% charge in an hour with Dell's ExpressCharge. There's also an option for cellular connectivity with an Intel 4G modem.

Dell's Latitude 7410 Chromebook Enterprise series is available today, starting at $1,299. A model is coming soon that will have a Core i3, starting at $1,099.
