Dell launches its latest XPS 13 and XPS 15 premium laptops in India

Dell has announced the launch of its premium consumer laptops – XPS 13 and XPS 15 – in India.

The highlight of the XPS portfolio has been the company’s virtually borderless InfinityEdge display. The new XPS range comes with an even smaller and thinner profile with the predecessor.

Both XPS 13 and 15 also come with the Eyesafe display technology that reduces harmful blue light and maintains vivid color. Dell claims that this is the first panel that intelligently manages light energy at the source and selectively reduces harmful blue light.

Dell XPS 13 (9300)

The XPS 13 sports Dell’s first-ever four-sided InfinityEdge display which allows for a 13.4-inch laptop design in an 11-inch form factor. The XPS 13 is claimed to deliver up to 18 hours 49 minutes of runtime on an FHD+ configuration when using productivity applications and up to 10 hours 16 minutes on UHD+ configuration.

The XPS 13 is built with authentic premium materials like machined aluminum, carbon fiber, and woven glass fiber to keep it lightweight as well as for additional durability.

Dell XPS 15 (9500)

The Dell XPS 15 is the smallest 15.6-inch performance class laptop with 4-sided InfinityEdge display. The XPS 15 also ups the ante on the graphics performance with a Dolby Vision certified ultra-vivid display and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics for desktop-class performance.

The XPS 15 too is precision cut from CNC machined aluminum and aerospace-inspired carbon fiber to achieve a durable, lightweight design.

The XPS 15 is available in Platinum Silver with Black Carbon Fiber palm rest at a price of ₹186,072 ($2480).

The new XPS portfolio is available for purchase on Amazon India and at select Dell Exclusive Stores. The portfolio also includes configurations that show the Creator Edition badge. These have been carefully selected to provide a smooth experience for creative hobbyists.

Dell has set a goal of using 100% sustainable packaging by 2030, made from recycled or renewable material. Starting with the XPS lineup, Dell has eliminated foam and single-use plastic bags so the entire box can be tossed in the recycling bin.
