Digiflare makes PBS universally available on Windows 10 ecosystem

Video apps developer Digiflare was a big part of PBS content being available on Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1. While PBS apps have recently been getting updated for Windows 10, the PBS Video app didn't get deployed on mobile at the time. Fortunately, Digiflare was recruited to handle PBS on Windows, this time for the entire Windows 10 ecosystem.

Officially announced today, the official PBS Video application is available as a free download in the Windows Store for PC, tablets, and phones. The app grants access to original PBS content, like its popular series Downton Abbey, NOVA and Mercy Street, with new local and global content being added daily.

Cortana and lock screen integration is also present in the app. The app will also include regional show listings and air times plus expanded details for available shows. If you are running Windows 10, including the preview, you can download PBS Video right here.
