Domino's serves up Twitter "tweet-to-order" system, place order using pizza emoji

Domino's has always been on the cutting edge when it comes to embracing technology. Now, the pizza chain has expanded their ordering system by introducing a Twitter "tweet-to-order" system.

Long gone are the days of ordering a pizza through the phone. Many have chosen to forego the long hold times and have adopted the convenience of ordering online, or if available through a smartphone app. Now, it looks like Domino's is enhancing the ordering process by offering the ability to order a pizza via Twitter.

Starting May 20th, Domino's new "tweet-to-order" system will allow netizens the option of ordering a Domino's pizza via tweet. To enable "pizza-by-tweet" ordering, Domino's customers will have to link their Twitter handle to their Domino's profile and have an "Easy Order" pizza creation associated with their account. After that, simply tweet "#EasyOrder" or the pizza emoji to Domino's, confirm the order via DM, and a pizza will arrive to your home.

While this is certainly exciting, Domino's has always been at the forefront when it comes to revolutionizing the way pizza is ordered. The new "tweet-to-order" system will go live on May 20th and will be available for Domino's customers located in the United States.
