Due to a system issue, Xbox FanFest tickets issued today are void and fans aren't happy

Today was the start of the new ticketing system for Microsoft's Xbox FanFest 2017. Unfortunately, it looks like there was a problem and folks that took time out of their day will not be getting tickets. Instead, those interested will have to attempt once again to try and nab some tickets for the event sometime in the near future.

Apparently, the website that was issuing FanFest tickets suffered a malfunction since more tickets were released than what was actually available. As a result of this problem, the Xbox team thought that voiding the registrations from today and starting over would be the fairest option. As you can imagine, this didn't sit well with those that woke up early and were able to successfully acquire tickets. For the inconvenience, the Xbox team will be sending out something special, but it has not given out details.

As of now, there isn't a new date or time available for when they will reopen registrations. However, if you want to keep yourself in the loop, you might want to keep an eye out on Twitter and follow @Xbox and @MajorNelson for the latest details.
