E3 2011: Gaming news round up for June 5

Obviously it's been a busy day for game news and we are still need to go hands-on with the PS Vita. Here's some tidbits to tie you over as we play some games. Then we get some sleep and look forward to Nintendo's conference on Tuesday.

Epic Games has announced that Unreal Engine 3 will power the just announced Xbox 360 games Fable The Journey and Kinect Fun Labs<
The zombie action game Dead Island from Techland now has a firm release date of September 9 in the US.
Topware Interactive has announced Raven's Cry, a pirate themed game from developer Octane games, will be released in 2012.
Topware has also announced another game. Gorky 21, a post apocalypse turn based strategy game that's also due out in 2012.
Leisure Suit Larry, the classic and funny (and very adult) adventure game series, will be revived for netbooks, tablets and mobile platforms later this year.
Matrix Games has announced plans to relaunch the Close Combat series of turn-based WWI strategy games.
Majesco Games has announced it has acquired Quick Hit, the makers of the free-to-play football game QuickHit NFL Football.
The fantasy MMO Gods and Heroes Rome Rising has started its open beta test which runs through June 12.
Paradox Interactive has announced that the PvP features for its action-RPG Magicka will be made available on June 21.
Someone has leaked out details on an upcoming Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3.
