Frostpunk, FTL, Tekken 7 and more coming to Xbox Game Pass in January

Microsoft has announced another batch of games heading to the console and PC versions of Xbox Game Pass later this month. The new additions include Frostpunk, Tekken 7, FTL, and more.

Microsoft already introduced Grand Theft Auto V to the Xbox Game Pass for Console program as the first arrival of 2020. As expected, however, the company isn't finished with January additions, with it today announcing three more games that are coming to the Xbox One service and two more that will be hitting the PC variant in the first half of January.

Here are the titles and their arrival dates on the subscription platforms:

Xbox Game Pass for Console:

  • Frostpunk: Console Edition - January 9
  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet - January 9
  • Tekken 7 - January 16

Xbox Game Pass for PC:

  • Frostpunk
  • FTL: Faster Than Light

Microsoft didn't announce the exact dates on when will the two PC games appear, though Frostpunk will probably arrive on the same day as the console version.

As for the games that will be departing the console service in January, Microsoft listed LEGO City Undercover and Just Cause 3, leaving players less than a month to play their share or pick up the game at a discount with the subscription.

These games should be joined by another wave of games in the latter half of January for the Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC subscriptions also.
