Rare's GoldenEye 007 was a huge title for the Nintendo 64, and to this day, still resonates with a lot of gamers. Although Nintendo has yet to release a HD remake of the coveted title, GoldenEye: Source looks to fill that gap with its latest release, bringing the version number up to 5.0.
While the team responsible for the mod has been teasing the latest release over the past week, it was only today that the mod was finally available for public download. The mod will offer 25 maps, 10 gameplay modes, and all of the unique weapons (yes, even the Golden Gun) from the original GoldenEye 007. For legal reasons, the mod will not be available through a standard channel like Steam, but you can download it directly from a hosting site.
