Google has introduced customizable Live Cases for Nexus devices

Google has introduced a new series of cases for its latest Nexus devices today. Quite fittingly, they're called Live Cases.

To start, they're customizable with a photo or place (from Google Maps) of your choosing. This will be printed on the back of the case.

Of course, customizable cases are nothing new. You could snag one of those on the cheap from Amazon. What's unique about these is that they can interact with your phone.

Attaching the case to your Nexus 5X or 6P will customize the device with an animated wallpaper. There is even a shortcut button on the case that will launch your favorite app.

Live Cases are only available for the Nexus 5X and 6P and they come in two flavors: Photos Live Case and Places Live Case. You can design yours right now for $35.
