In the spirit of the holidays, Google is giving an extra Buddy Pass to owners of Stadia Founder's Edition. The additional pass can be gifted by Stadia owners to their friends or family for 3 months of Pro access.
Once activated, users will be able to play Stadia games with a variety of keyboard and mouse combination or gaming controllers. Google is also pushing the fact that post the activation of the Buddy Pass, Stadia Founder's Edition owners will be able to play Destiny 2 with their friend.
Customers who purchased the Founder's Edition had already received one Buddy Pass with their purchase. This is the second Buddy Pass that Google is giving them for the holidays and as a part of its marketing campaign to promote Stadia.

If you have the aforementioned edition, you should see an envelope icon in the Stadia app. When that icon shows up, you will be able to send a buddy pass to anyone among your family or friends.
The Buddy Pass needs to be activated within three months of being gifted. Once it expires, the user will be charged $9.99/month for Stadia Pro unless the subscription is canceled.
