Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2 and Rachet & Clank trailers released

Though not the main attraction during Sony's presentation at E3, they are still some of the bigger titles that are coming out for Sony's big console. Here are the rundown of the games as well as their trailers, all in glorious HD.

Heavy Rain

Developed by the French Studio Quantic Dream, Heavy Rain gives you the ability to be in your own simulated thriller. The game plays a lot like a horror movie with quick time events to control all the action. The player is also in complete control of the story as they have the ability to kill or save anyone in the game, which greatly changes the story and ending of the game. The game is to be out sometime later this year.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Uncharted 2 is the upcoming sequel to the popular Uncharted: Drake's Fortune title that was brought to us from Naughty Dog, the makers of the Crash Bandicoot series. Updates to the game include all new gameplay mechanics, stealth action and the ability to freely climb on walls, similar to that of Prince of Persia or Assassins Creed. The game is also suppose to have no loading screen, kind of similar to that of Halo, which means their will be no interruptions during the game. The title is also promised to be more visually appealing and overall better produced as Naughty Dog's knowledge of the PS3 has only grown over time. The game also includes a multiplayer beta for those Qore subscripers and also to those who purchased inFamous starting on June 3rd.

The story itself picks up some years after the first game, and he is set out to solve a long standing historical mystery, that of Marco Polo and his return trip from China in 1292. Their is no release date set for the game, but is expected to be released sometime this year.

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time

The ever popular platformer from Insomniac games is back for the PS3. It is the sequel to the previous Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty and is the final game of the trilogy. The game will feature all new gameplay mechanics such as time traveling and time manipulation.

The story picks up with Ratchet still trying to find Clank who was kidnapped by Zoni at the end of the Tools of Destruction title. Doctor Narfarius who was the main bad guy in Up Your Arsenal is expected to have the same duty in this one as well. The game is expected to be released towards the end of 2009.
