Hip to be square: LG's G6 teaser shows how its unique 'Full Vision' display could work [Update]

If there is one thing LG has been open about in its recent promotion for the upcoming G6, it's that the handset will offer a large and unique 5.7-inch QHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. In a new teaser for the handset, we get a small sample on how the G6 will utilize the display.

If there is one thing that is brought to the forefront in the trailer, it's the use of squares and how it offers perfect proportions when combined with LG's upcoming UX. Beyond the uses seen in the video, we can also see some of the footage that shows the rounded corners of the newer UI. While there isn't quite enough information to unravel LG's plans, there could be some very interesting uses implemented combining the new UX and its 'Full Vision' display.

Although the G6 made an early appearance and we pretty much have a good grasp of how it will look, there are still plenty of interesting things that can be revealed at its event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Neowin will be covering Mobile World Congress and will be offering hands-on and its first impressions of devices from the show floor.
