Honor Watch makes its debut; starts at around $130 USD

Honor debuted its latest smartphone, the Magic 2, but also announced a new smartwatch as well. The Honor Watch offers a 1.2-inch AMOLED display, activity tracking, and is priced competitively.

Today, Honor announced its Magic 2 smartphone, which offers a slider design and packs Huawei's latest processor, the Kirin 980. But along with a new smartphone, the firm also announced its new Honor Watch.

The Honor Watch comes with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display and comes in a black and silver color option. The black model offers a silicone band, while the silver model has a leather option. As you might expect, the watch is capable of displaying different kinds of information, like the time, notifications, and also health data. If you are one that likes to track activities, the Honor Watch is quite capable, offering tracking for running, hiking, swimming, just to name a few.

Since the watch does have NFC, it is capable of making digital payments at supported terminals through the Huawei Pay service. This will, of course, rely on your area or the shop supporting the service. The black version of the watch with the silicon band will cost ¥899 or around $128 USD, while the leather band option will cost ¥999 or around $143 USD.
