If you reside in the UK and own an HTC One M8, it looks like your number has finally come up, as HTC has announced the impending release of the long-awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
According to a tweet from the official HTC UK account, the update will arrive to One M8 owners in the UK over the next 48 hours. Those who own an HTC One M9 will also be happy to know that an update will be arriving 'shortly'. HTC has done a good job so far with releasing updates, with their previous Marshmallow updates arriving on the unlocked M9 and A9 in December.
Those wondering if other HTC devices will receive an update might want to check out the leaked release schedule. Naturally, none of the updates are set in stone and the schedule should only be used as a rough template for when things might come.
