Huawei doubles down on smartwatch with 'Jewel' and 'Elegant'

Huawei has doubled down on the smartwatch segment, announcing two new devices which it says are designed for women. The watches are elegant, retaining the sense of style from the original Watch.

Huawei has announced a pair of new smartwatches that it says are designed specifically for women. These watches are definitely bringing the fashion thanks to the partnership with Swarovski Zirconia, that will see the bezels of both devices encrusted with jewels.

While Huawei was a bit scarce on the details, the watches will run Android Wear and should have similar specifications to the Watch. The two watches will be available globally and will start at $499 USD.
