iOS 10 beta: Opening the Camera app no longer interrupts music playback

Just about every iPhone owner has been there. You're listening to music on your phone, go to snap a picture, and the music stops. It's perhaps the most aggravating feature of iOS.

This is all going away with iOS 10, assuming that the beta is any indicator of things to come.

Indeed, with the iOS 10 beta, music playback is no longer interrupted when a user opens the Camera app. This is also true of accessing the Camera from the lock screen.

It will, however, still be interrupted if the user swipes right to access video recording functionality.

It's worth noting at this point that this is an early beta and everything is subject to change. This could simply be a bug that gets squashed later.

Assuming that this is an iOS 10 feature that all users will see in September, it will undoubtedly be one of the most satisfying changes to the OS in years.
