Hands-on with iOS 10 beta

Apple had its WWDC keynote this week, and you know what that means: all-new developer betas to play with. We'll start with iOS 10, which Apple promises is the biggest iOS release ever.

Yesterday, Apple had its Wordwide Developer Conference (WWDC) keynote, and you know what that means. The firm announced all-new versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Following the event, developer previews were released.

Apple promised that iOS 10 is its biggest iOS release to date. In fact, it's probably the biggest redesign since iOS 7; however, it also includes redesigned apps for Maps, Music, News, and more. Photos and Messages saw a long list of new features. Many apps, such as Maps and Messages, will be opened up to third party developers.

The company also released Swift Playgrounds for iPad - a way to help kids learn to code in Swift. The app comes preinstalled on iPad versions of iOS 10 beta.
