Thanks to Mctnguy, whose post I spotted in the Gamer's section, regarding the announcement. Following rumours and semi-announcements in January, finally it has been officially announced that Jedi Knight 3 is actually confirmed and is in the works.
Here is what is known so far about the game:
- This is not an addon, it's a completely new game
- No Kyle, you will most likely play one of his jedi
- There will be plot progression levels as well as standalone missions
- Larger battles, 6-7 jedis at once
- Larger emphasis on the saber
- Current release scheduled for Fall 2003
