Job Opening hints at possible Google Mobile Phone

Is the Gphone really in the works? A recent job opening posted on Google Jobs seems to confirm the U.S. search-engine giant is researching and considering a mobile device: "Google is experimenting with a few wireless communications systems including some completely novel concepts. We are building a small team of top-notch Logic Designers and Analog Designers aimed at nothing less than making the entire world's information accessible from anywhere for free."

There aren't any facts yet, but there are rumours all over the blogosphere. One rumour hinted at Google teaming up with Orange to deliver a co-branded, Google-enable handset. Another claims Google and Samsung already have prototypes that they are working on. The mobile phone is definitely where a lot of money can be made, especially through selling content wirelessly. The market is, however, very saturated and Google will have trouble making something revolutionary that customers will truly want to get their hands on.
